Do you do a 2 credit meal?

Congratulations on your wedding. We'll be celebrating our 18th anniversary while at WDW (we had our honeymoon there too) and since we are staying at the Beach Club, we will be having a nice intimate (as intimate as you can get with a 7 year old in attendance) meal at the Yachtsman.

Yes go for it. We did two on our last trip first morning we went to CRT and we also went to the yachtsman steakhouse. Enjoyed both. Breakfast at CRT was more for our kids than us though and yachtsman was just for the two of us as we booked our kids into the sandcastle kids club which they really enjoyed.

Just trying to decide if we should do a two credit meal. It s our honeymoon so we do want a romantic meal and this would be an option ( we have a few places, but would need to narrow it down to one), I also like the idea of having a day with no ADRS, no rushing no plans just have a day to relax.. What do you do?

California Grill...maybe tell them you are on your honeymoon and would like to sit by the window...

Congrats! We always do one 2 credit meal, CRT. My daughter enjoys it, but more importantly my wife loves it. Regardless of how old my princess gets and what she believes in, the Queen of the house is going to want to continue to go there :p

Every trip I make sure my Mom gets a Lobster at Narcoossee's. 2 credits well worth using. Have a trip coming in May using Deluxe plan, my 2fers are Narcs, Brown Derby, Yachtsman, Fultons (1st time), LeCellier, Monsieur Paul (1st time) Citricos.

Sounds like you follow the same routine I did in Feb. Since the Deluxe gave us 3 credits per day, we did TS for lunch and Sig for dinner. We enjoyed it but wouldn't do it again, but fun for once. I forgot how much food and time that took.

Yup. I have some early lunch ressies with later than normal dinner ressies. Also have a breakfast with a dinner. Have a couple of credits open that I will probably just use as counter service breakfasts. Did the math and determined even if I do a couple/few counter services I will still get my moneys worth out of the deluxe plan. I agree, it can be a lot of food, the time I'm not too concerned about. On a Su-Su trip I always get in the attractions and shows that I want. Plus I'm fortunate enough to make 3 trips a year. Like to do the deluxe plan once every 3 or 4 years.

We like to do one per trip, and we always pay out of pocket. (There are no 2-credit experiences -- except, perhaps, for the dinner shows -- that cost twice as much as the more expensive 1-credit table service meals, so if you're on the dining plan, it's generally not a savvy use of credits).

I like using a 2 credit service meal at least once because that gives us an open night for dinner another night so we can use our counter service. DDP is always too much food but if we spread it out via 2 credit - we can get a better use of it

If it's your honeymoon then I totally recommend on doing a signature meal! I recommend either Citrocos or Yachtsman Steakhouse. Congrats on your wedding and honeymoon!! Have a great trip!

If one were to make a 'top 10' list of restaurants in the resort, the '2 credit resort restaurants' would fill many of the slots...

i don't to the 'plan', but many that do will pay out of pocket for some meals so they can do more TS places (whether 1 or 2 credits)

Of those you listed, Citricos is the best. (Cali Grill looks like they are cramming too many tables in it's new variation). Get there early and sit in the lobby and listen to the pianist & the orchestra.

I would ABSOLUTELY do it for your honeymoon (I'd probably even do 2). There's always going to be a night or two during a trip where you want to eat at a place that isn't really worth 1 TS credit. Pay those out of pocket and use the credits to upgrade a couple other nights to a signature. It's definitely worth the experience and honestly, it's a much better value than spending a TS credit on a $15 meal.
