Wow!! The pictures posted are insane there is no way I would subject myself to those crowds all day long. Wait and wait for food, wait and wait for the restrooms, wait and wait for attractions and then on top of it pay ~ $180 park pass so I can wait and wait. I guess as long as people are foolish enough to go Disney inspite of the crowds (reminds me of lemmings) they will never do anything to lower crowd levels---- It's all about $$$$$

I wonder when the last time the park was visited by the fire marshal to set the total capacity that they are allowed to have... or better yet if the fire marshal visited when the park was open to see the amount of space that is eliminated by the strollers. I have always wondered that because if you think about the reason for capacities it has to do with room available and the strollers that have gotten worse over the years really do impact that capacity. Would be nice if they were required to count every stroller that entered the park as a person when calculating capacity.
We agree 100% on the stroller count. Some of these things take up as much room as four LARGE people. A CM on the Jingle Cruise said it best…"as soon as the fireworks are over…it's like a Stroller Derby down Main Street"! We loved that!

While we're on the subject of strollers, my husband was waiting for us outside of City Hall and noticed a child asleep in a stroller sitting by the Roy Disney statue on the bench. There was no one else around. Almost immediately, a women showed up with a CM in which she was reporting to this CM that the child was alone. Within a couple of minutes, there were 3 or 4 CMs and a couple of higher up Managers watching over the child in hopes someone would return. This was during the fireworks, so that area was pretty void of people except, of course, the viewing area on Main Street. About 15 minutes later, the parents along with yet a younger child showed up. The Manager had a word with them and the only thing my husband could overhear was their excuse that their little 3 year old ran off and they had to chase her down. Give me a break! Most would consider this child neglect.

And keep in mind…this is late afternoon! The Guests that pile in first thing in the morning are thinking they're going to be seen on TV during the Christmas Parade. Little do they know, the Parade was filmed early to mid November. It's usually later in the day, after they realize they were duped, that everybody starts to disperse to the other Parks.

Honestly though, we typically will head to MK in the late afternoon on Christmas as we did this time because the crowds later in the day are usually not as bad as you would think. However, this year (as has been the entire year), the Parks have been excessively crowded. Based on the crowds the past two days, we were VERY hesitant to go to MK. The main reason we went is that we already had FPs and knew there was no way we were going to be able to swap them for another Park and we also figured that since someone on the forum were asking for photos, we would take a chance so others wouldn't get blindsided in the future. We hope this helps those who have future plans to make.

I sure hope most of them are AP's... this is why I gladly buy the gold pass. Blacked out for two weeks in December... two weeks when I wouldn't want to go anyway. I've been for NYE twice and they are just insane.
