Do they wear crocs?

I am wavering. I really want to buy a pair of crocs for our trip in April but...I am trying to get over the ugly factor. Do you see many adults wearing these "lovely" shoes in the parks?

Seems lots more people are wearing them now.

I've noticed about 99% of the people from the UK wearing them saying how great they are.

I won't wear them for one reason, I hate the Gators!

We have gone every year and I saw more and more people progressively wearing them. When we went last September, they were everywhere! We saw families wearing them. Seriously, it was a Crocs invasion. I love them and will wear them to the parks from now on. I wear them at work where I am on my feet 10+ hours a day. I feel like I am wearing slippers. I find them cute on some people and odd on others. I personally don't care what my shoes look like while at WDW-my feet are ultra comfy! I like the looks of Crocs, though. I just ordered my Disney Crocs and they will be arriving for my trip in May!

What she said, except I have owned crocs for a year or more now and love them. We all (my whole family) got Disney crocs for Christmas. We wore them all over and they got so many comments. We were at WDW just a few days ago and the Disney ones are all over the stores too. They were around 37 for adults and 32 for kids. They have jibits there too.

To answer the guestion. Yes, you see people of all ages all over the park in them. Even Mr. PhD will wear them now (black mickey ones, but he has navy beach crocs too.)

Do you think I can order them online?

Crocs may not be fashionably desireable, but my last summer was the first Disney vacation that my wife didn't get any blisters. Prior years she was unable to walk after a couple of days. Last summer ran us into the ground.

"Disney Crocks? What do they look like? Do they have the Characters on them? Where did you order them from? I'm very interested in getting a pair for our trip in May!"

We all want to get the Disney version of Crocs, but I take a size XXL and Crocs doesn't offer them. I have tried several times to get members here to help me by calling or emailing crocs, but my threads always just die away with no results. I remain hopeful.

hallmark

My local hallmark has officially licensed things that fit inside the holes of your crocs. They have the fab 5 plus Daisy, princesses, buzz, and even a Cars one! They are 3 bucks a piece though, so maybe a little pricey.

A coupla questions here.

When you guys talk about Crocs are you talking the name brand or the style that can now be gotten everywhere from WalMart to Payless? I have a Payless version and while they're comfy, they make my feet sweat if I don't wear socks with them, which sorta defeats the purpose, you know? Do real crocs make your feet sweaty too? Do you all wear socks with yours?

Also, What about foot support? I noticed last summer that when I wore my Airwalks all day, by the evening my feet were achey. Do Crocs have good support. I do want a pair for our trip, but only if my feet won't be smelly and achey!

Thanks!

I dont think its just me BUT...... I had a pair of croc like shoes from target and they made my feet sore and sweat. I threw them away and bought a real pair on the chance that they would be different. I am glad I did. I wear my Crocs with and without socks depending on the weather. My foot has not sweat once. They are the most comfy shoes I have ever owned. I have not put a normal shoe on since I got them. I even wear them to work and Im on my feet all day. No sore feet for me and I walk around WDW 3 times a week.

LOL...This thread is funny! What colors do the men usually wear? I must admit they look hideous from what I've seen. I would have to try on a pair at a store to see feel the comfort your all talking about before buying them. Why do some of the other store versions people have mentioned make your feet sweat, and the real ones don't? Is there a different material they are made of?

New men's styles, too!

The new men's slide on is very nice looking...I would love to get my husband to wear sandals, but classic canvas VANS are his go-to summer shoe!! :brick:

I'm gonna try, though...

Crocs are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I have 2 pair, one is hot pink (you can see those suckers a mile away:eek: ), my other pair are Disney crocs that just got delivered the other day. The only problem I have with my Disney crocs is that I ordered the white(they have a light pink strap) and when I opened the box they aren't white, they are actually a very pale greyish color. Cute, but I was really hoping for white! They looked white on the crocs website.
I am planning to bring both pairs with me the WDW at the end of April.
