Do they Premere Movies Early on the Disney Cruise Line??

Hi, me and 4 other friends will be going on the May 14th-17th cruise and I was was wondering if anyone has a clue if they every show the upcoming movies early. For example Disney-Pixar's new movie UP is coming out in May...do you think they will show it earlier?? We really were hoping to get to see it on the cruise...but I have a feeling the answer is a no....has anyone been on the cruise if they show them earlier???:shrug:

Now that I'm realizing it...this was a pretty stupid question...but I wasn't sure if it was possible...my friends were asking me and I didn't have the answer...which is rare when it comes to disney haha!

It's not a stupid question!

Never say never, but they usually don't show them that early. We are on the May 23 sailing and Up premieres on the Friday we are onboard. If Disney follows tradition, they will show Up Thursday night/Friday morning at 12:01 am. Then a few times on Friday.

My dd11 is already making plans for a midnight screening in her pjs.

I know they play movies that are currently out at the time.

Disney is really, really strict about release dates...reguardless of location. Up won't be shown anywhere, including the Cruise Line, until it's officially released.

Thanks! That's what I thought...I keep telling my friends that it would be happening that early for the cruise...Oh well maybe they will have Earth playing...I've been meaning to see that. THANKS again! Only less than 10 days until my cruise date

Not earlier but they do show Disney Movies that are just released.
We were on the cruise April 19th until the 23 and they were playing the Hannah Montana Movie.

Well, we did get to see The Incredibles early on our 7 day cruise and were also privy to "cruise only" Incredibles pins! Bon Voyage!!

When we were on the cruise we got to see the hannah montana movie on Wednesday when it got released everywhere else on Friday.:animwink:
