Magical Express as started doesn't stop at the store. You can rent a car, get a taxi or town car service that will stop at the store for you to get snacks.

Some town cars include an optional stop at a supermarket in their price.

With cabs, you're on the meter, you can do what you want.

DME & Mears shuttles do not stop anywhere else. DME's whole reason for being is to get you straight to WDW so you can't go anywhere else, why would they let you spend money offsite, even for groceries? If they could, they'd back the shuttle onto the tarmac so you never even set foot in the airport, where you might buy some gum or a magazine.

If you use DME, the way to do it is to get a grocery delivery. There are 2 local delivery services (WeGoShop and Garden Grocer) and 1 local supermarket that also delivers (Gooding's). This is an incredibly convenient option for using DME and still savings bucks on groceries for your room.

Gooding's and Garden Grocer are also incredibly convenient because of their delivery policies. Gooding's procedure is to deliver to Bell Services, not to you in your room (and you can arrange this with Garden Grocer just for the asking). Bell Services calls you, and if you're not in they leave a message and store your stuff, even keeping the cold stuff cold for you. SOOOO convenient not to have to wait around your room for a delivery, or to waste time stopping at a strange supermarket and finding where they stock the things you like.

If you are looking to pick up snacks, but stopping on the way from the airport is not an option, consider shipping them from home before you leave.

I have had a package shipped to us with USPS and it was waiting for us when we checked in. All you need to do is put your name, your hotel address and your check-in date on the label and it is as easy as that. I know that some ship canned goods and snack foods in this manner. Just confirm with your hotel that they will accept a package on your behalf. I know that personally, I didn't even need to ask about it. As soon as I gave them my ID for check-in they told me they had something waiting for me.

I hope this helps.

Last year we used quicksilver and they were great we got loads of groceries had a 30 minute stop and they couldn't have been more friendly. Also when you're on site and need to top up your groceries/beer (we're Irish) the Hess station across from DTD is MUCH cheaper than any where on site.

Hope this helps

I do the ship from home. I call the hotel and let them know that I have having a package shipped. I also write on the label my check in date for the front desk/bell capt to see when I am getting there and so they can verify that I will be a guest there.

Works great. I also did it for a DCL and had my Travel agent send it so there would not be a problem.

We have used Tiffany Town Car for years and as long as you tell them you want a grocery stop when you book, they will stop for no extra charge and are very friendly. One year I forgot to tell them we wanted to stop, and I told her in route. She said she could do it if we were very quick because she wasn't scheduled for it. But she was still friendly and let us stop.
