Do characters acknowledge sequels to their movies?

It seems like the sequels were just made for the cash, but in the case of the television shows, a LOT more effort actually went into them.

Well, remember, most of these series were made when Disney Television Animation was firing on all cylinders. LM, Aladdin, Hercules, and Tarzan were all good because most of the staffers had been working on original series that were almost all good- Gummi Bears, Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles, etc.

As for asking questions about minutiae, I have to stop myself from doing that. I don't do it to trip anybody up, but because I'm a huge nerd fanboy about a lot of those series.

God bless the "Ignore" button.
A good question to ask a villian "How did you come back from the Dead?"

Ask Goofy about his Girlfriend Sylvia from an Extremly Goofy Movie
Most of the face characters obsess over their source material enough that they'll probably be hard to stump, but anything from a TV show might get them.

Animated performers have a lot more characters to study, and fewer opportunities to get stumped. As a former Goofy, I NEVER saw An Extremely Goofy Movie, but it never was referenced to me either.

As for why Beast is still Beast and villains are still alive, there's no set "right" answer; it's just up to the performer to have something prepared that's character-appropriate.

The same way Jafar is alive and not a Genie anymore...
And how Gaston survived his fall...
And how Frollo survived his fall...
And how the Wicked Queen survived her fall...
And how Maleficent survived her fall...
And how Wendy is back to being a little girl...despite having kids...
And why Pinocchio still depicted as a wooden boy

haha, sorry just having some fun :joyfull: Disney Logic!

Wait...How did Rapunzel's hair grow back? :hilarious:
Because Rapunzel still has the power of the magic flower in her, since she healed Eugene with her tear. It just quickly grew back.

DUH! :p

I guess it was good that the one kid who obsessed over An Extremely Goofy Movie never came to one of the Goofy M&G's...lol.

If I remember correctly I saw a video once that Ariel talked about her daughter Melody and if Tangled Ever After counts then I also remember a video were they talked about the rings.
