Do any of you dream of becoming a WDW CM someday?

When my Trust fund kicks in at 3 years time, I am really considering quiting my job at Itchy Bill's and becoming a WDW cast member.Do any of you guys out there dream of working at the World. It would be great if I could snag one of those meet and greeter jobs at the Magic Kingdom. Even better would be to become a life guard at Typhoon Laggoon or Blizard beach, then I could wear my Speedo 24/7. The Ultimate would be if Disney would let me wear my Speedo as a Meet and Greeter at MK, imagine seeing me in my Speedo wishing all of you a magical day.

Regardless - today's probably not the best day to post this particular thread.

You know, I had a miserable child hood growing up and you are right I did not get a lot of attention.I never have had any friends that are normal people in my entire life, untill I started posting on these boards. It was a great run well it lasted but I guess that I am going to have to leave these boards forever.Maybe I will go to other Discussion Boards were I am welcomed and will not be picked upon for the person that I am. Just remember every one when you hear a whisper in the wind think "Speedo Bob" .

Guys, I think I gotta stick up for the Speedo on this one... Was the timing of this joke wrong? Yes... Does he know about the events that took place? Maybe yes, maybe no... If he did, then it was done in poor taste...but if he didn't, then can you really jump down a guy's (or girl's) throat for a coincidence?

Just look at his past threads...

Speedo Bob somewhere in Disney...whether it be during Halloween or at PI...this thread still follows suit...I don't feel that he was out to attack anyone.

I kinda think staying in character is good, it gives you an identity. Now, I do suppose there is an extreme to anything in life, but certainly there are many more extremes out there far worse than trying to make friends laugh.

Speedo, the timing was bad. But nobodies perfect. I think if you did know certain things, then apologies may be in order, but I don't think you should leave.

I agree. Speedo Bob you have made me very amused on these boards. Honestly I didn't know about the issue of the day until after I read Speedo post. What happened was horrible and I am sure Speedo didn't do it to rub it into anyone's face. That doesn't seem to be his way. He just loves to talk about Disney and his dreams and his funny stories.

I honeslty would never like to work at WDW. I know this sounds strange and all coming from a huge WDW fan. I dont know. I just dont find it all that fun to be a WDW CM. I mean, after what happened to Rob and all, ...he had the most senority out of many CM's, a great love for WDW, shareholder and all. And then he gets the boot out the door for something he didn't do? Sounds like Disney aint the greatest place to work. The only place I would like to work in Orlando is the Rosen Centre Hotel as the hotel owner/manager.

This is my first post ever on these threads so bare with me here a little. I have been a lurker on this site for a while now and I cannot belive what has happened. I cannot belive that some of you out there would take yourself so serious to get angry at the threads that Speedo Bob wrote.I love what Speedo Bob has done for this website, it is very refreashing to hear his outlandish storys and they always put a smile on my face. Instead of hearing the same old posts of "My toilet was leaking at the Poly" we got storys about Para saling over Bay Lake in the buff, Playing the Piano at the Grand Floridian in his Speedo in front of Eisner and Donald Trump etc etc etc. I found his threads to be a great diversion from the real World and thanks to a certain person on this site we will no longer get to hear them anymore. So lets all rally behind Speedo Bob and lets get him back on this website.It will not be the same with out him.I agree with Nikechic I really do not think this post was a shot at the castmember who lost there job, I really think that some people out there really need to simmer a little and relax.
