DME Confusion

I booked my trip and my flight separately but when I booked my trip I told them all of my flight info for the DME. When the luggage tags and things came in the mail, that little booklet thing said "no flight information provided," does that matter? Do I need to call and verify anything or will I just be able to use the DME? Thanks!

Not old, just vintage.

You can always call back and give them your info again but I don't believe it is critical. I have used DME at least two or three times now without them having my exact flight info. As long as you got your DME ticket booklet and the yellow luggage tags, you should be good to go. However, if you are planning to use DME to get back to the airport at the end of the trip you should probably give them a call. If they don't know your flight info for departure then they will make you call them while you are in WDW to arrange your transfer back to the airport.

Just to set your mind at ease, you can call Disney reservations and they can confirm your flight details. The same happened to me when we went down on Feb. 1, booklet said "No Flight Information" but when I called, they had my airline and flight numbers.

We went through this over and over for our January trip. They don't need any information for your arrival flights. As long as you have your vouchers, you'll just check-in at the airport and get on a bus. And actually, you don't even need your vouchers - just your name. But it's better to be safe.

Going home is different, as someone said. They'll need to know your departing flight info so they can properly schedule your DME resort pick-up. You will either need to call anytime before your trip, or even while you're there. As long as they have your info 2 days before your departure, they can schedule you.

The inbound isn't important unless you are arriving very early morning or late at night. It helps DME know that people are arriving and they need to have transportation available at that time. I've heard stories that transportation hasn't been waiting and DME has paid for taxis to get people to resorts at 1 or 2 am.

When you check in at the DME desk at the airport, you can give them your outbound flight.
