Tonight I spotted two DME busses in Winter Park FL driving down lakemont avenue. Anyone know what this is for?

Mears HQ is located near the intersection of I-4 and route 408, which is only a couple miles from there, so @mrerk is most likely correct.

Maybe for the highschoolers in that area for candlelight? wouldn't be out of the question for them to be taken there by the DME would it? Not sure. But I know my brother performed at epcot recently!

Winter Park High transportation. They are an Honor chior for Candlelight which includes transportation for them. I saw the busses after retruning from EPCOT making the left on Aloma from Lakemont. Most of the chiors doesn't include transportation. Honor chiors receives several perks along with multiple dates to sing at the park.

There are buses designated for specific runs. In other words when a DME bus is required for DME transportation it will be a DME bus that is used. However, Disney has a lot of things going on and the frequently use buses "wrapped" with other things when they are not in use. For example, when I took the "Behind the Magic" tour, they used a Cruise Line Bus. You are liable to see them anywhere. As stated, they are contracted buses owned by Mears and Mears uses them for non-Disney related things as well. Disney shouldn't mind..it's free advertising for them. A moving billboard.
