Dang. Anybody know what color the subs were during the original 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea? I say they were still yellow, but my DH says otherwise...

Disneyland's subs where never 20,000 Leagues under the sea. It was originally submarine voyage thru liquid space. They were originally gray but were repainted in 1986 to pastels and then a year later to yellow as research submarines.

I love how the Disneyland Band just walks throughout the park all day. Easily one of my favorite distinctly DL touches. (Also, great shot! I love Space in the background.)

Someday I need to get a picture of the emergency exit tunnel on the right in that picture.

It's fun to go through there! You can see behind some of the windows and exit out the crypt in the extended queue like you own the place.

Thanks, I love hearing and seeing the band all around the park too. I was lucky enough that they stopped right in front of my bench and played some songs before moving on to the Golden Horseshoe.
