Gosh, I hope so. I can't stand the new sleds. Bring the old ones back!
It would certainly say encouraging things about TDA. They fixed the somewhat minor problems with Mermaid after opening, and these sleds are pretty much universally panned. It's a big problem! Rides aren't like movies... you can tinker with them and you're not stuck with your mistakes. There's a quote out there by that guy (Walt Disney) saying something to that effect. :)

Edit: Oh, and little kids 35" and up (I've heard there wasn't even a height req back in the day) rode the Matterhorn for 50 years, and now with these masterpiece of engineering sleds, you have to be 42" all of a sudden to ride the same exact ride?!?!? What's up with that?

Yep. If they switch the sleds, I will be quite happy with TDA. I won't get my hopes up, though. It's beyond a problem. This ride is still my favorite, but the new sleds force you to sit a certain way and it feels awkward. I feel like I'm going to somehow fly out of my seat! Walt Disney was a smart guy!;)

The new height requirement is messed up. I bet OSHA has something to do with it.

Space Mountain and Soarin' Over California are officially going down for refurbishment on April 28th... I tried to see when they would officially be back up and it looks like they'll be down all through May and maybe even June, according to the Disneyland calendar. Maybe they can get some painting done while they fix their safety problems.

If it's still down on June 22, someone please shoot me before I do something stupid.

I was originally unhappy because I get out of school in May and then will be sitting around waiting to go on June 21, but if Space is more likely to be up later in June...

Alright, so now the site is saying the refurbs will be over by April 25th, next Thursday. The weird thing is, on April 24th (my birthday, yay me) both attractions say "pending". Very interesting...

All these refurbs popping up have me watching the calendar. I'm now seeing the "pending" for SM and Soarin' is gone by 4/25 but just noticed Jungle Cruise is going down from 4/29 - 5/1. Here's to hoping everything is up and running by the end of June.
