I`ll be uploading the third and final part overnight tomorrow (Sunday) - once the servers have them they`ll be available to d/l.

Cheers again Dolby

This is PACK7 and I love your tours so much, It makes me wanna pay the THOUSANDS of $$$ to go to France to check it out.
But that'll never happen.

Is it possibile that you could do tours (if you have time, obviously) for Disneyland or/and Disney World too? if not, whatever :)

Thanks pack! Part 3 is at Distro now, along with some Tokyo edits I`ll mention in the TDL forum - ready for serving (Dreamlights still uploading)

Having never been to DLC, and for me having to pay the thousands of $$$ toy mention, I`ll have to leave that one to someone more qualified to do (RU42...step forward!)

I have thought of doing a WDW version.... but to satisfy my interests it would end up being 10 hours long

However, my Spaceship Earth `86 hopefully gives a lot of background to Futureworld (each individual original attraction video covers each particular pavilion) but you have given me an idea for World Showcase.

Right now I`m doing a studios video; `Disney MGM 1989-1994` and following this I have 2 more planned - `The Magic Kingdom 1971-1994` and also a wider covering one `The WDW resorts & more - the history` regarding the resorts, resorts never built, Lake Buena Vista, the Village and Pleasure Island.

In the mean time, enjoy DLP part 3!

hehe .. your welcome
just watched it ... was great ..

nice fact the the parade was in french, english and german .. two of three are well known to me :king:

also the armageddon "ride" was cool .. this vaccum effect looked nice .. (reminded me a bit of the backdraft "ride" in USH )

ahh nice fact that the RnR Coaster in DL has 5 alternating light versions ... ( the multicolored looked best though)

and the LMA stunt show music (james bond) reminded me of my 3d animation flick I did for my graduation party...

all in all a superb video series :sohappy:

Can't wait for these!

Is the Vic Perrin SSE video (I would assume 1982-1986) with the simulated ending done yet? I can't wait for that one, as well as the MGM, MK, and Resorts and More Videos too.

Great job.

Thanks, Dolby.

dxwwf - I havn`t forgotten about SSE Perin - its taken a back burner. I watched it last week and frankly I`m too embarrassed to release it as is... I intend on improving the ending before releasing it, but since I`ve just started the MGM history video it won`t be just yet. It will happen though!

Hi, Pack

thats a good idea but unfortunatley I don`t have nearly enough footage to do the coverage this topic deserves. I still can`t convince Michelle to have a camcorder holiday, instead of a holiday with a camcorder. Wonder why.....

The resorts vid I have in mind is more the history and expansion, the Asian, Venitian, Persian and Meditteranian, plus how and why the Swan and Dolphin were built (and why that location), and Orleans/Dixie/DVC, CBR, The All Stars and Pops history - basically all the resorts. Then over to the village area for the history of Lake Buena Vista, the resort, village/marketplace, Hotel plaza, what never happened, and Pleasure Islands concept and subsequent expansion. Basically an `everything but the parks` video.

In the meantime, almost ready for distro is my 2 part Disney-MGM Studios history. 90 minutes-ish, from the concept, construction and opening to RnR. Features Here Come the Muppets (source audio), Superstar Television, Monster Soundshow, multi angle GMR with both hold up scenes and original tram tour (with Res St. and NYS tram tour) plus the original walking tour.

Oh - I`ve also done a separate edit of Sorcery in the Sky - full show (mostly original version) with multi angle and source audio. I`ll post in this forum about availability, and on my group (see my sig) :)

is the monster sound show that your using, the one that RU42 capped from my vacation?

if so, its cool that your using it :)

I just wish I had the computer fast enough to do a "tribute" video. Anyway you could teach us how you do your magic, or if you have IM, you could leave me a private message there. Let me know

Thanks,
Pack

Hi, Pack. Yep, it must be your vid - I asked RU if I could use it. Thanks for making it available - I`m glad someone captured this great attraction. I don`t have IM, but feel free to PM me here, or email me from my username.

I am working with some folks on a DLR video. This thing is top notch stuff. What Marni and I do is prosumer stuff. This project I am working on is a step above that - unfortunately that is all I can mention about the project now.

If you are familiar with my dvd collection (PM me if you want the web address for these vids) I am in the process of making a video of each land; Fantasyland is under construction. The videos are also available on web sites like http://www.visionsfantastic.com and most of the vids are also on #D-C.

PACK - I hope you don't mind I gave permission for the MSS. You wanted your stuff available for others and I assumed it was cool.

Hey RU - I`m looking forward to any Disneyland `guides` that are more than just (excellent) attraction videos - as you know that was my intention with the DLP vid, and I dare say I`ll never get to DLC...

How is Distro doing? I`ve more stuff to upload (The 2 part Disney MGM, Sorcery in the Sky complete edit & TDS` BraveSEAmo! multi angle edit)

Distro is pretty filled up I think. I will have to check it this evening or tomorrow when I am back on my main computer. We may need to remove DLP#2 to make room. I will check and let you know.

These videos are absolutely fantastic Martin. I honestly feel like I have been going to this park my whole life after watching the first two parts. The one thing that I didn't like about the videos was how sad it made me feel seeing how great DLP is and now superior it is to our Magic Kingdom. And it's not even close. It seems that DLP is getting better all the time and it seems (to me) that our MK keeps on getting worse. And I'm just talking about AE here either folks.

Congrats on this landmark achievement and I can't wait to see what you have in store for us with these other videos.

Anyone ever been to Disneyland Tokyo or Hong Kong?

That would be cool to check those parks out too lol

RU, Yes, Its absolutely fine, I feel honored that Marni's using my video heh, Just remember thats my parents, hence why we taped it.

and if you make an early 90s Magic Kingdom, you can include my tape from the Horseshoe Revue! may that great show RIP

We should really set up a classroom to teach others how to cap, include multi-camera shots, insert audio etc someday in the future. It would help our channel out and would be fun for all.

Thank you all... glad I can offer something back to the community.

Pack - I WISH we could get a Tokyo vid like my DLP one - the closest I`ve found are Barry Bedfords atmosphere videos of TDS, and ThemeParkReviews (excellent) whirlwind montage of both parks.

I do have access to quite a bit of Tokyo footage, but since I`ve never been I couldn`t really make an authorotitive video tour of it. Food for thought though...

Well I finally got to finish part 3 today and I must say that I was more impressed with WDS than I thought I would be. It seems themed fairly decent, but I guess I can forgive them for it not being better. The attractions themselves seem to be wonderful.

Their RNRC seems to be 10x better than the one in Orlando. The theme of a music video with a wonderful light show seems much better than the semi lame theme we have in the States.

Armageddon looks to be a wonderful effects show that would be ABSOLUTELY PERFECT for a replacement to the WWTBAM: Play It show. I really would like to see Armageddon brought to MGM soon.

Cinemagique and Animagique look to be fantastic shows. Cinemagique should be brought to the Old Superstar Television building and Animagique should be put in the Voyage of the Little Mermaid building when that show ends. I was very impressed with both of those shows.

I think their Backlot Tour is pretty decent and it looks to be very similar to ours. Alot of people want to complain about this being basically Catastrophe Canyon and that's it, but hey at least CC is better than the terrible Earthquake attraction over at USF.

The Aladdin spinner is pretty cheap, I know, but at least it is themed better than ours at the MK. Heck at least it has a story.

Not to mention the fantastic parade that is better than any parade I've seen at WDW in quite a while. And it's easy to forget about the Motours stunt show that will get to knock the socks off of us this year at MGM.

So basically, I think that WDS is a pretty darn good park and once the ToT is added, I think it will be that much better. I can understand some people being disapointed with the lack of "rides", but that will come. I must say that I was overly impressed with the park.
