DL60 - How long will it last?

Hi All

After visiting WDW for the past 3 years I would really like to visit the original and think I can justify it this year because its the 60th.

But my question is how long will the celebration last? Is anything time sensitive?

This type of anniversary celebration usually lasts anywhere from 12 to 16 months from when it officially begins, so you have more then a year to make it out to California to savor the 60th offerings.
Since the fun begins mid-May, you have basically until Summer 2016 to make it out there.
Plenty of time!

There will likely be a few smaller happenings or offerings that are time sensitive, but the major stuff..such as the New Night Parade, Fireworks Show, WoC, Attraction enhancements, and other entertainment offerings will all be available to see during that time frame.
In some cases, many of those offerings will be staying well after the Diamond Anniversary Celebration ends.


I think it*s terrific that you are considering a visit to *Walt*s Original Park*.
More WDW Vets need to do this, as it is indeed something special.
The 60th Celebration is the perfect excuse to make the trek out West, as the Park will be absolutely sparkling this year....and i am not just talking about the *diamond encrusted* Castle !

It's unlikely that the 60th celebration will end before September 2016.
