I might be out at DL the weekend of Nov 6-8.

What holiday stuff will I be able to see?

I assume it will be too late for SM Ghost Galaxy and too early for Xmas.

Hmm the castle will probably have some of its snow on the turrets, but New Orleans Square seems to always be decked out in its beyond beautiful decor by Halloween. Tiana's Showboat Jubilee starts on Nov. 6. Toon Town might also be done by then too.

Otherwise Believe..In Holiday Magic, small world holiday, Christmas Fantasy, Santa's Reindeer Roundup, and the snow shows all start Nov 13, but like Erika said Haunted Mansion Holiday is open. Ahh I think you should try pushing the dates just a bit :D

That about sums it up.

Your a week late for Halloween, and a week early for Christmas.

You do get Haunted Mansion Holiday however. And probably some glimpses of Christmas decorations going up around the park.

Why can't Disney Help?

I will be there the same weekend and I have been asking the same questions for 6 months. Why can't Disney post the information sooner. If I waited to make reservations until they posted the information I would have paid 3 times the price for air fare. I was checking Disney's web site and only last week did they post the park hours for Disneyland. How can you plan a vacation? I will bet that Disney already know when they will decorate for Christmas in 2010.

OK. I'm done. Blast me if you want.

I can't really change my dates.

The DL hotels are just about fully booked. What other hotels are close by that are Disney level quality, safe, and easy to get to parks?

We've stayed at the Quality Inn on Manchester (across Harbor from DLR, near the north entrance).

It's definitely not "Disney standards", but it was a good enough place to sleep after a long day and when waking up early. We wouldn't stay there as a resort destination, for sure.

It's close enough where you can walk to the parks or take the Anaheim Resort Shuttle.

It's definitely a great alternative and a lot less expensive (around $100 for Christmas week).

Good luck and HAVE FUN!
