www.Disneystore.com has a new promotion in the works. Each day this week look for special offers and surprises. Today is Mickey Monday - recieve $5 off any $10 purchase.

Look forward to:

Tarzan Tuesday
Wish Wednesday
Tiggerific Thursday
Fairytale Friday
and Let's get Goofy Weekend

Specific are not given for what each day will hold, but it is definitely a new direction for the online store and worth checking out.

Also look for the Wow of the Week special offer featured on the main page.

Just wanted to share this cool new promotion.

Wish Wednesday is kinda weak...

A 14" Stitch Plush for $5.

I don't know about most of you, but I have 3 Stithes at home because of Similiar deals late last year through Christmas. It appears they made way too many Stitches.

My understanding about Wish Wednesday is that it won't always be Stitch. There will be different items offered each week at the $5 price.

From what I read this is a temporary promotion and not an ongoing thing. However, I was simply posting the offer for each day this week, if it continues on then I will discontinue. thanks.

Tiggerific Thursday reward:

Recieve two free magic towels with any $10 or mor purchase.

Also, on a side note, I went to Disney Store yesterday, and for each $25 purchase you could choose from select items around the store for only $5 more. This included Stuffed Simba, Stuffed Stitch, and Magic Talking Princesses. We got a Cinderella and a Simba.

Apparently they have skipped Fairytale Friday and went straight to Let's get goofy weekends ??? Save 15% throughout the store. The Wow of the Week has changed to getting a Easter Plush with the purchase of any two Easter Items.

I worked on Wish Wednesday and you had to purchase $25 worth of merchandise to get stitch, a talking princess doll and there was something else for $5. There were also items througout the store that were $5. Each day of the week will be different (ie. no two Monday's will offer the same promotion). Hint this week-end is a store wide type of "event".

TOO BAD THERE IS NOTHING GOOD IN THERE TO BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE A 5 YEAR OLD KID........I MISS THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN they respected Disney fans of all ages.......sigh.....

I didn't really know what the whole "disney dayz" thing was all about until yesterday when I got $5 off all my stuff! Combined with the Disney Club discount, I got a bunch of stuff for only $30! I was happy.

This doesn't have anything to do with the Disney Dayz campaign, it's about the Disney Stores in general, but today's Jim Hill column talks about the new "agressive" methods TDS are using. It's funny, scary and weird all rolled into one freaky package!

What is the site of the column by Jim Hill? I have heard his name, but not sure who/what he is?
I am glad for people with kids who like Disney Dayz, but not all of us have kids, and not all of us like the direction being taken by the stores........I dont particulary care for shopping online, and it makes me very angry that they have totally written me off as a customer.......

Heck, they don't even carry infant items anymore, but no reason to be negative about Disney Stores in this thread. I was merely sharing the new promotions. If you want collectibles or adult items, go to the online store or the catalogs. They still make it, it is just rare to find in the stores now. I buy the DVD's, so the Dayz work for me on that as well. If you look I was talking about the online stores from the start anyway. Not trying to attack or anything, but this hostility seems most unnecessary for this thread. I have seen several threads out there to discuss exactly the points you are making. :)

okay, mea culpa, Disney Dayz rock and the DIsney store is headed in the right direction and I will gladly shop online or catalog since they are there to meet all the adult consumers needs........I thought this was a discussion forum---doesnt one topic lend itself to the other, especially in this respect? If i have somehow breached discussion board etiquette you have my deepest apologies........:hammer:

I didn't mean for you to take it that way. I never once saw where the thread was drifting in the directions of your posts. I know how threads can change, I've been here quite a while and have quite a few posts under my belt. I just didn't see where you were coming from, especially with all the caps on your first post. :) I'm not judging, I just didn't see how the comments applied here, that's all.
