Rude? No, goes to a worthwhile cause. Plus you can write it off on your taxes!

Actually you can't. So you don't think when a family of four comes and spends roughly $55.00 on lunch asking them to donate more money isn't rude?

if you think about it your paying to help protect animals so that your kids kids will have the pleasure to see these wonderful animals. They can ask just wild orthe wild life conservation places it goes for the research to know more so we cxan protect. I also have a family of four and understand cost for food. but just because they ask doesnt mean you have to donate. just like any other donation place they can ask it is up to you to choose. I dont thinkits rude

I highly bed to differ. The arcade games are not asking you to donate money where as at the parks, people are asking you.
...and you can say no to either one. The money spent on arcade games though just goes into Disney coffers.

The Disney Worldwide Conservation Fund really is a fantastic organization. Disney underwrites the full cost of operating the fund, so 100% of all Guest contributions go directly to the selected conservation projects. It's a very worthwhile cause that does a lot of good. I actually wish it had a little more of a presence in the parks.

Rude? Not at all. It is for a noble cause, and a very well respected organization. If you don't want to donate then don't, but honestly another $5 or $10 dollar donation isn't going to break the bank if you clearly have the money to go to a Disney property already.

Whats rude is the tip container at the Starbuck's counter, thats just over the top. :D

I'm a big supporter.

It is both a fantastic cause and nice compliment to AK and it's goals.

To be able to see the animals and their habitats and then donate money to their preservation is a powerful feeling.

I've done volunteer work at the Disney Wildlife Preserve and it was a fantastic experience to see where some of the Guests' money goes to. The people who work there are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about what they do.

I don't think it's rude. I think it's really great that Disney is using its name and money to help wildlife. I donated $5 near the beginning of the day, and they gave me a cool pin to wear. The rest of the day, none of the cast members asked for a donation, and several thanked me for donating.
