I just have to say how much I appreciate this post. It took me a while, but I wanted to recognize it. Chilling (in good way), if that is the right word.

I know it's become almost a cliche', but September 11th really did have a big impact on my life...I got engaged, went back to school...just reconsidered a lot of the decisions I had made up until then....and I guess I feel like talking about it...makes it "real"? I don't ever want to forget that day, as horrible as it was, because it really was a turning point for me, and a lot of other people...and it's important that we don't forget how we felt that day...and get complacent and lazy and forget that we're NOT untouchable...
Sorry to soapbox....With the anniversary coming up, I'm getting a little shaken gain...(you haven't REALLY lived until you start crying while looking a a TIME book devoted to 9/11..in the middle of a Walmart...) But again..thank you. It's nice to know someone else was touched by that memory...
