"Disney's" Theme Parks

It came to me the other day when I was reading an article about DCA's long name and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. The older parks have names such as: Disneyland, Walt Disney World, and (originally) EPCOT Center. But the newer ones are called: Disney-MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Disney's California Adventure, Tokyo DisneySea, and Walt Disney Studios.

Maybe this is a dumb question, but....Why such an emphasis on the Disney name?? Disney theme parks are already SO recognizable. Just wondering.

Will EVERY future park continue this tradtion?? I don't know if I'd like that...

Well..aside from EPCOT...all parks have the Disney name in them...why? I can only assume its because they want people to recogniize the name with high quality etc etc....(arguable..I know)

It might be because there could be another park named Magic Kindom or Animal kingdon......
Disney MGM studios is prop the alliance between Disney and MGM studios

I have you ever noticed on the animated movies the ones before Walt's death are called Walt Disney's "enter movie title here" then for a while they were Disney's but now they are just say Walt Disney Pictures Present. Just FYI
