Well... it's clear that D+ isn't a walled garden for children any more. Not that some of the shows on D+ haven't already broken some barriers into 'mature' content.
Disney's relying on the internal parental controls now in D+, and D+ will be a home for some R-rated material.
D+ is taking the unannounced stance that it's just like your cable box -- there will be family channels and adult fare all in one place. It's up to families to sort out who's watching what.
I guess Disney hasn't been getting any push back for some of the more mature material already on the service.
And this fulfills Chapek's latest take on Disney+ that it's going to aim at a more general audience.
Four quadrants!!

There's a new sheriff in town. They moved Love Victor for what… cancelled Lizzie for what…
Who could have seen this coming.....Well... it's clear that D+ isn't a walled garden for children any more. Not that some of the shows on D+ haven't already broken some barriers into 'mature' content.

Uhhhh... wasn't that all about you saying D+ and Hulu will merge?Who could have seen this coming.....
Oh that's right I did (and a couple others) and everyone shouted me down with "THE BRAND, THE BRAND, IT'll NEVER HAPPEN BECAUSE OF THE BRAND!".
The writing has been on the wall for this since D+ launched, people just didn't want to see it.
The next domino to fall will be Hulu merging and becoming a tile in D+ just like Star.
Not yet it hasn't, give it time. Remember D+ was just testing live streaming last month, again the writing is on the wall....Uhhhh... wasn't that all about you saying D+ and Hulu will merge?
And it hasn't?
Anyway, I will admit that I was wrong about Disney keeping D+ 'pure.'
It just debuted, so I don't think anyone knows yet if it'll get a 2nd season or not as Disney hasn't announced anything.Since The Proud Family Louder and Prouder premiered today on Disney+. After ten episodes premiered on Disney+. Will the show will getting another season with other seasons in the future?
I sort of expect at least the latter to be revived in the future as even Duff recently gave hope that its not completely dead. However How I Met Your Father is basically its spiritual successor starring Duff anyways as its along the same story lines of Lizzie as an adult. They moved Love Victor for what… cancelled Lizzie for what…
