Disney's quickness in hiring?

Well I have an interview with Disney on the 18th for part-time attractions and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how quick Disney usually is with call-backs and such (assuming I get one). I'm moving down to Orlando on the 17th to start school at UCF and I'll be pretty pressed on cash obviously so I'm wondering if I should go ahead and apply at some resteraunts or something when I get down there in case Disney takes a while or I don't get it.

there are 3 things they will tell you
1-make you an offer
2-tell you that they would hire you if they had room, but there is not room.
3-turn you down completely

this is all done at the interview

Well from what I hear they are short of Cms so hopefully you have a good chance of getting hired. Good luck!

If everything is true they'll be strapped for employment (search for Polk County). Not sure you know this but it's a good 30-40 minute drive from UCF to Disney in light traffic, in heavy traffic it's horrible (my sister is a sophomore there) Good luck with it.

Current internal incentive is a $50 visa giftcard for every hired referal, 2 of those if they go into housekeeping or quick service foods.

Yea I know about the drive, it kinda stinks but I'd rather work somewhere like Disney than at a resteraunt again.

Good luck gettting the job! Disney is short in almost every area right now so I would imagine you have quite a good chance! P.S. Disney is very specific about the appearance of cast members...if you have any questions feel free to ask any of us who are current CMs. A haircut couldn't hurt....it'll always grow back!

You're the guy in your avatar, right? *checks profile* Yep. Ok. You will need to get a haircut. They don't allow long hair that falls in the face or covers the ear. They also don't allow (for men) pushing hair behind your ear. Other than that, it pretty much has to be a symmetrical, groomed cut that looks natural. Hope that helps.

Would I be correct in assuming that if you went into any barbershop in Orlando and said "I need a Disney cut" they'd know what to do?

LOL--some know exactly what ya mean and some just kinda look at you blankly. Makes for some conversation, though!
