Not a bad quarter. Now if we could only get domestic park spending to where it should be, we'd all be better off! Of course, I realize that the current management seems loath to spend dollars at WDW, so we won't be seeing much of an increase until Shanghai is paid for, and maybe not much then.

Stock surges 4% up to $97 based on the news. Would be wonderful if it could sustain that price before the big gun films come out this year, but Dis will be well over $100 per share by years end easy.

Can Iger have a bad quarter? I seriously doubt it.

George Lucas must be happy. He has almost doubled his money in just a few years Let's see if the stock breaks $100.00 this week.

Money money money money money!

Stock surges to $101. Dis being hailed as a universal buy right now with pundits predicting a possible $150-175 dollar range by years end. Thats a little too agressive a prediction for my taste but since I bought the majority of my shares when the stock was under $20 a share, I'll gladly take it.

Can we keep Iger around for ten more years please?

The $150 is way too aggressive and puts a ridiculous valuation on Disney.

Iger is a great CEO. He is and has always been a media first guy and that's obviously why WDW is thrown on the back burner. It shouldn't be that way, but it is and he's still managed to reward his shareholders with fortunes.

Iger has shown willingness to spend in the parks. Most of the issues we are dealing with are more due to those in charge of Parks & Resorts. Yes, Iger shows great preference for IPs, but he is not against new rides. As CEO, I doubt he gives THAT much thought to Parks & Resorts, anyway. Far bigger fish to fry.
