This doesn't sound like a flash mob, it sounds like a relatively small group of people doing something that is fun and wouldn't negatively impact other guests in any meaningful way. I imagine anyone recognizing the reference would get a kick out of it.
Thanks for the feedback and info, whether pro or against our idea.
I do understand completely why some would consider this to be annoying. That is the main reason we were thinking about making this a "walking out", mobile as we're leaving gig. Not a stationary thing.
Here is the scene we would be reenacting if it were to happen. The choreography to our "dance" is simple, walking and waving festive cups around, as seen starting at 3:12 and going until 3:46 in the video. Obviously no jumping, hootin' hollering or major disturbances to guests. Just a festive stroll more or less as we exit the land.
Someone even suggested bringing a Bea Arthur look wig to wear during the proceeding, to reflect her character from the special. I doubt we'd take it that far since that borderlines wearing a costume in the park.
... which would make a great viral video. You will be escorted out of the park by stormtroopers and banned from Disney forever.
It's their $$, time and enjoyment. Bewildering 87 guests? Life is too short to think about petty things. Have fun and don't look back. Who gives a rats %@# on what others think?Your prospective plan is pointless as far as I can see........what are you looking to accomplish here? Be the center of attention for 90 seconds? Introduce something bewildering to 87 out of every 88 guests leaving the one who did recognize it shaking his head in disbelief or embarrassment.
What is the point of this? No, really.....what is the point?
(as I simultaneously ask as a genuine question and dismiss it with rhetoric.......if that is even possible)

I personally like this idea a lot. We tossed the thought around in family meetings prior to our flight this morning, but decided against it for several reasons.again how about in Oga's canteen. this scene takes place in a bar.
I'm enjoying your infographicsI personally like this idea a lot. We tossed the thought around in family meetings prior to our flight this morning, but decided against it for several reasons.
Oga's, while fitting to the scene we're paying homage to, would create risks of disturbing other guests, as it has it's own "show" taking place. We're really trying to avoid the highly congested, BIG areas such as inside shops, around the Falcon, and make this as quick and mobile as possible. Also, since several of our family members like to fast on Life Day starting at sunrise, avoiding any food and beverage locations would be a contribution to their self-discipline.
Here's the tentative plan from a map my cousin posted on our family Facebook page. As you can see we're steering clear of the most active areas to keep this fun, but not intruding. We meetup with the other families joining us (up to 27 people so far and growing!!) near Rise Of The Resistance area since it is yet to open, put on any Bea Arthur wigs, start our song, make the walk toward the other end without infringing on the Falcon crowds, and have the Bea Arthur wigs removed before entering TSL at the other end, so to avoid confusion and looking silly.

That's exactly what we said to the security escorting us out of Fantasyland after our naked brony spin on Cinderella Carousel! Are you on vacation? Would it be fun? Are you paying for your vacation?
If the answer to those three questions is "yes," then I think you have your answer.
