It wasnt quite what I expected, but was very suprised.

This show was designed to be a low cost, easy to travel, musical revue. It is NOT a grand Disney Theatrical stage show like Lion King or Mary Poppins. It will likely never travel to New York and will have short runs in smaller venues.

However, if you enjoy experiencing Disney music to a live band, with very talented live singers, this is something great. The set is simplistic, the clothes changes are minimal, the story is very simple and mostly told through nonverbal cues (that are really only seen if sitting up close) but the actors do an excellent job, exude tremendous energy and have an exceptionally great time with these phenomenal songs. The song list is great and there are some great surprises which I won't spoil here.

Those with a lot of theatre-going experience or those expecting a flashy Disney production may be disappointed but I look forward to seeing this again.
