I haven't seen this reported anywhere yet, but the Disney Magazine has an article about this tour, and reports that it returned to Disneyland in late January permanently, to be offered Sundays through Thursdays. Hopefully they will keep it this summer so I can see it!

I just saw that in the magazine yesterday, too! I'm excited - I didn't get a chance to do it before. Looks like I can now, if I can actually find the time!

Oh good! Maybe I can see the complete tour because when I went Indiana Jones Adventure wasn't working, so I never got to hear Indy's "ghost" stories. But I am hoping they tweaked the tour a little to make it more eerie.

What rides to they allow you to go on???

The listed rides on the tour are TOT in DCA, Disneyland Railroad, Indiana Jones and Haunted Mansion.
FYI: Indiana Jones broke down when I took the tour and in place we rode BTMR. So, I guess that ride is an option if for some reason one the rides is not operating.

I will only take the tour again if they change everything other then the rides ...

I was not interested in the stories (this coming from history teacher though) ... they need to add more surprise and that doesn't really mean scary ... but things like the pumpkin appearing in an area magically when it wasn't there before, etc.,

I think the tour is too hyped up for what you get ... But I think everyone should do it once ... My city's local Ghost and Gravestone Tour was 30 bucks and we got a snack, drink, flashlight and better stories.

I did have highlights from the Disney tour: rode the ToT with all the bellhops (we asked them to join us b/c they were all waiting to take the last ride after us) and things like the magically appearing pumpkin and odd scream (I think we were supposed to see a light fliker but it never did, I think we were late b/c Gracey kept looking at his watch then the window a couple of times)

I read about that tour in the magazine and it sounded really neat. Does anybody know if a similar tour like this has ever been done or is planning to be done at Disney World?

That's an awesome tour! I did it a few years ago around Halloween. :)

I thought it was weird that the article said that the Gracey part was inspired by the HM at WDW. I don't have the magazine with me, but I think that is what it said. Did the Gracey storyline start when WDW's HM opened? I know DL's HM had nothing about Gracey until the new portrait was recently put in.

I believe so.

I can't wait to take this tour when I go to DL this summer! I was so excited when I read about it in the Disney Magazine. Do they only do one tour a night or run more than one tour at a time? Just wondering!

Bad news guys! I received word from a friend that the Mystery, Myths and Legend’s tour is currently not running. The Disney Magazine made a mistake printing this article in their winter issue when it was suppose to be in last summer’s issue.
I called to confirm and was told the tour will not make a comeback until the fall.

During Oct. to Nov. when it runs (look at stranger's lastest post above) they only run 1 tour a night ... so make sure you call right at 30 days b/c it will be a hard getting tickets ... if I remember correctly they started taking the first reservations 2-3 week of Sept. even though the first tour started the first week of Oct., and I know that was not a 30 day advance.

Awww, that sucks! This would have been a fun one to keep around. :(

Oh that bites! Do they offer any other tours that I might be able to take while I'm out there? I'll be there in July of this year...not sure of the dates yet.

There's always the A Walk in Walt's Footsteps tour. I've never taken it, but I've heard it's good. Here's a link to Disneyland's official page of the tour.

I have been on that tour. It's well worth it in my opinion. When I was there in Jan. I asked about it and they said they would be making some changes for the 50th to it.. so it should be a bright, new version of it then. But it is a lot of walking! :)
