Disney's Mediterranean Resort

I was searching through the internet this morning and discovered that there would've been a deluxe resort on the 7 Seas Lagoon named Disney's Mediterranean Resort.
I found this to be very interesting and exciting, however the plans were scraped because the grounds were swampy.

What do you think? If there ever was a Mediterranean Resort, would you stay? I would definitely stay since I'm half Greek. :slurp:

Absolutely. However all those deluxe resorts are a bit outa my price range atm But all of Disneys deluxe resorts are incredible, and im sure that one would have been great too. Unfortunetly, I dont think we will ever see it......

This resort was supposed to be infront of the TTC next to Bay Lake and between TTC and Contemporary resort. After surveying the land they found that it could not withstand the weight of a building or hotel. I would have definitely stayed there at least once (we have tried all on property resorts).
