Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa Debuts New Beach Pool Area
A zero-depth entry pool and twisting water slide are part of the new Grand Floridian Beach Pool area at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Located on the beach of the Seven Seas Lagoon near the Grand Staircase Entrance to the resort's main building, the new 5,000 square-foot Grand Floridian Beach Pool was designed with a natural-springs theme. Other features within the new Grand Floridian Beach Pool area include a kids play area, a 12,000 square-foot deck overlooking the beach, changing rooms with showers for late departing guests, new ice cream service area and a pool bar with a direct phone line to Private Dining that allows guests to order from a special pool menu. Shady cabanas with computer access to the Internet will be added soon.
