Revenue is recorded when you complete your visitIf I buy a hotel and ticket package in Q3, for Q1 in 2021, is that revenue recorded in Q3 or Q1? I’m guessing Q3?

Shell accounting...taking a $10 bil loan from BOA and calling it “cash on hand”So Disney actually made a meager earnings this quarter despite park closures and missing revenue, even after all the analysts predicted they'd lose money.
That's...not terrible? I was expecting them to miss everything.
And this is interesting: despite raising a lot of debt, current liabilities *decreased*, albeit slightly from last year.
The only thing that concerns me is that Disney+ has 57.5 million subscribers rather than 59 million as predicted by Wall Street.
Subscriber growth beginning to slow.
60.5 paid subscribers for Disney+ as of yesterday...
It’s a drop in the bucket...however. $400 mil a month...chump change in the grand scheme of things...for now60.5 paid subscribers for Disney+ as of yesterday...
Um....
By 5 pm it will be 70.2. They get a million new subscribers every 5 minutes because math.Um....
The number in the earnings statement was end of June. The number he announced on the call is yesterday which factors in a potential bump from Hamilton on July 3rd.In all fairness that was *before* Chapek made the annoucement.
Hows that?By 5 pm it will be 70.2. They get a million new subscribers every 5 minutes because math.
That’s not good.Mulan to be released on Disney+ September 4th - $29.99.
I'll wait until it's on...Mulan to be released on Disney+ September 4th - $29.99.
yeah will be interesting to see how that goes down. You can bet the movie theaters are going to go ballistic now.
