Disney's Best and Children Under 7

I've finally convinced my parents and younger sister's family to join us at the "Happiest Place on Earth". They all enjoy fine dining. So I'd like to show them that Disney is more than just mac and cheese and hot dogs. I'm hoping to coordinate the best dining experiences Disney has to offer. But because we'll have 3 children in tow, ranging in ages from 3 to 7, we will not be able to enjoy V & A's at the GF. As most of you know children under 10 are not permitted. I'm thinking of Citrico's, California Grill, Bistro de Paris type places but am not sure if these locations favor the younger children.

So my questions is.....which Disney restaurants will impress the very fussy palettes of my family while at the same time not frown upon our unruly brood of mousketeers. I do not want to hire a sitting service for the kids. After-all this is a family vacation and we all know that "family means nobody gets left behind". Thank you and have a Magical Day.

We haven't found a restaurant that DS (4) hasn't liked yet. He loves the character meals. We've taken him to Le Cellier, Rose & Crown, Cape May, Whispering Canyon, and a bunch of others. We are going to try out Coral Reef next time which we think he'll like too.

Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge is great. Very good food and a beautiful atmosphere with pretty views of the WL property.

In our opinion, out of the nicer restaurants on properety, this is one of the best to take kids to. They give them a picture of Mickey to color, and then hang it on their "Artist of the Day" bulletin board, and they also give them an "Artist of the Day" certificate.

For dessert, they give the kids a Mickey puzzle made out of white chocolate pieces, and at palate of icing "paint" to decorate it with.

The adults can enjoy being in a "grown up" restaurant, and the kids can have a bit of fun as well.

Thanks so much for the replies. It seems that as long as my little cherubs behave themselves we can pretty much go anywhere except Victoria & Albert's. And because Bistro de Paris does not have a children's menu that probably won't happen either. All good to know. Thanks again.

My DS4 really enjoyed, Jiko. Coral Reef, and Artist Point. We got the best service by far at Artist Point. The waitress brought him stawberries instead of watermelon as an appetizer, because hw said he didn't like watermelon and asked her nicely for strawberries or grapes instead. Our waitress there was absolutely wonderful. If you make a reservation for one of the signature restaurants, try to make it for right when they open at 5:30. There are more families with kids at that time, and not all of the tables are full yet, so the wait staff has more time to spend with you. This worked great for us.

For a great meal where young (and possibly picky) children and more adventurous adults can be satisfied, I'd HIGHLY recommend Boma. The dinner buffet is spectacular, provides some choices that you won't find anywhere else and is themed wonderfully.

There is plently to choose from for kids (mine are now 6 & 8 and they loved it) and they will also enjoy the theming and sights and the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

I have heard great things about Ohana at the Poly. Taking family and 3 1/2 yr old GD in July. Hope it is as good and as fun as I have heard.

My boys love the Yachtsman. They also have the white chocolate desert that looks like puzzle pieces like mentioned for another restaurant.
