Disney's Animal Kingdom hours boosted for many days between November and March

Do they keep the animals out that late or is it similar to EMH at night when they just had a handful of the rides open but no Safari or animal exhibits?

Currently, animal exhibits and attractions are operating a little bit longer than normal--today, they were open until 6:15 when the park closed at 7:00. However, the operating hours for these attractions are primarily dependent upon the time of sunset. As the days get shorter, animal-based attractions will close earlier, regardless of the park's operating hours.

Thanks for the update, Steve. I had just checked and noted the hours for Nov. 21st, 22nd, and 23rd three days ago. All parks are the same, except for AK. The non-EMH hours went from 9:00-7:00 each day to 8:00-8:00 each day.

I think it's great that this park will be open into the night, however it seems to mostly be for the holiday crowds. Up until Thanksgiving week the park closes at 5...:(

Why is TDO doing this? Didn't they get the memo that this is a half day park? Shouldn't they be closing at 1pm and using those operating funds for a 5th gate?

Sorry, this is for me. I had photos of that park at night back in the days when they had EMH Evenings at that park, and then my fiance decided to knock over my external hard drive costing me the photos. I can only assume that Disney, in their infinite wisdom extended the park hours knowing I would be there over the new year.
