'Disney's American Adventure' would have been a far better name for the park.

American Adventure was a family entertainment center located adjacent to what is now Six Flags White Water outside Atlanta.

Well- it would be great to have Disney in the Washington DC/Baltimore region- congestion or not. I believe Disney had some thoughts about building something in the new area of National Harbor, but I think MGM got the deal with a casino!

It would have been nice to have it here, but I think Williamsburg or somewhere farther south would have been a better location. Some place with shorter winters that needs the jobs more.

Disney owned land and intended to build a hotel, but the projected was cancelled likely in the less than desired response to Aulani.
