Here for your viewing pleasure is a bit of concept art from Disney's America. THis is art is so beautiful and I can't understand why this was never built, because it looks so cool.

The Main Street of Disney's America: "Cival War Street". Notice the park's icon, Ellis Island at the end of the street.

Here is art from one of the lands: Victory Field, which celebrated American flight through history.

I have to go now, but I'll have more art later.

I would love to see Disney's America. It would be educational without being mind numbingly boring or patronising like EPCOT. And since it is the history it will not make the mistake like DCA of creating a fake version of somethhing in the original place.:brick:

The reason the second and third pics look so much like Liberty Square is because they are concept art of LS not Disney's America but still nice.

...wasn't this the park that Disney wanted to put in Virginia a few years back but met resistance cuz it would have desecrated Civil War battlefields?

...as a 5th park, i wonder if it would appeal to a broad base of international visitors...

Nope, Disney's America should definately not be put into WDW. I mean, 2 lands and a park, that's just two much, maybe if it was just the pavillion at Epcot, but with Liberty Square, there should definately be no Disney's America in WDW.

It would be okay in Disneyland, aside from the fact that DCA is almost an exact replica of Disney's America, minus Paradise Pier and on a tighter budget.

Virginia is the perfect place, make it a nice, comfortable place, and never, I say NEVER add another park there. Just the one. It would be amazing, and would compete with Busch Gardens and Williamsburg.

nah that would be terrible, I'd rather them just put Disney's America in WDW than them retheme Liberty Square to do it. Liberty square is such a beautiful place.

Disney is already in competition with Busch Gardens and Williamsburg... if one of your guests compares you with another company, than that company is your competition. IN this sense, even that little mom and pop store down the street could be DIsney's competition if they were compared to DIsney in customer satisfaction.
