Disney's Aida to Close in September

The touring production will still continue until it's no longer making adequate money to keep it afloat.

Unfortunately, the U.S. touring company has been out of action for almost a year. I saw them many times, including the final show on Aug 24, 2003. The last touring company cast of Jeremy Kushnier and Paulette Ivory were exceptional (I think better than Deborah and much better than Toni Braxton). I really liked Lisa Brescia best as Amneris and was totally thrilled to see her back on Broadway again for the final run in NYC. Will Chase is a close second to Jeremy Kushnier as Radames.

Everyone should try to make it to NYC before this show closes.
