DisneyQuest

About five years ago, my sisters and I (all adults in mid 20s) went to WDW and went to DisneyQuest. We didn't really find a whole lot that we were interested in doing but it was part of our ultimate park hopper tickets so that was fine.
This September I'll be there on my honeymoon. I think I had heard that things have changed there so I wanted to know if someone could tell me what is different there and if it is worth paying to get in for 2 adults (it is not part of our pass this time).

Thanks.
Christine

It's really not that different from the last time you were there. Same basic stuff, although I did here that the upper floor where you play for prizes is gone.

I recently went to DisneyQuest on my trip this past January b/c it was part of my package. I really thought it was quite boring. (And I'm 22 and my fiance is 24...right at the age categories they are reaching for...maybe just a hint older.) We both love playing those types of games against each other, but I certainly would not pay to go back.

I suggest keeping your money to do something better and more romantic.

i enjoyed disneyquest, it was my first time at DQ all i knew was it had loads of games in there. when i was there over xmas it wasnt as crowded as people would expect. i played games without having to wait long i played games i knew nothing about which was fun and my fave game is air hockey but i had no one to play it with which was a shame but i just watched other people playing it. what is fun is the buzz game where your sitting in a little motorcade and you jave to fire balls at other motorcades granted it doesnt last long but it was fun.

i didnt have to pay for it coz it was included on my ticket but i will go back next time. its not bad in my book.

On our last trip, we went to DisneyQuest. In our party were 4 adults, ages 23-26. The men in our party LOVED it there. They both enjoy video games, but honestly, my DH very rarely plays them. They really loved it though. Personally, I could have done without it. This was my first time going, so I don't know if it's different or not. Anyway, congrats on your upcoming honeymoon!

We have not been to DisneyQuest in DTD for two major reasons:
1. We're near Chicago, and there is a DisneyQuest there...
2. We now plan our WDW vacations when it's COLD here, so we'd rather not be inside while it's PERFECT in Florida...

I'm not saying we won't ever do it; just that so far we haven't felt a need to.

We plan on going to DQ for the first time our next trip. I am sure my DS ages 6 and 9, and my DH who is a big kid at heart and loves arcades etc will have a great time. Me? I'll be there to watch them have fun! :D

Will post my trip report when we get back and give some info on DQ....

One of the best parts of Disney Quest is on one of the upper floors and is based off of Buzz Lightyear...I do not remember what it's called, but you and a partner sit in a small enclosed golf cart like thing. It scoops up foam soccer balls and then one drives and the other loads a cannon and shoots them at the other couples in their vehicles. It's a good time....I think me and my ex-wife rode it about a dozen times or so. It's a good time.
