Just a thought here about DisneyQuest...The last time I was there in November....It looked liked this place needed some help....REAL Help....Almost every floor had one attraction removed from it's 1998 incarnation..Some were Unique like Treasures of the Inca's which is where SEGA's Jambo Safari games all sit on top of and covered by carpet...Where you used remote controlled cars with small cameras to move around the maze to find the treasure.

Hercules in the Underworld where PoTC battle for Buccaneer gold was a 4 player game where you play as Pegasus/Herc/Meg/Phil to retrieve lightning bolts from Zeus and stop Hades, Pain & Panic from releasing the Dead and taking over the world...

And as many have heard that Ride the Comix was it's latest demise as the area was to become more seating areas for Dining.....It didn't even become that...It just became a seating area with large couches and the ships were blocked off and the interior mechanics covered over leaving nothing left than another memory standing there...

Which got me thinking....Ever since Wreck-it-Ralph came into the Main hub with the statue and the removal of the Cyborlator plus Genie being the "Unofficial" Mascot..It seems that DQ is in this Oddball Limbo of what it wants to be....If they wanted to take it to a "New Level" and revamp the place with Disney Springs and rename/retheme it to Disney's Game Central Station.....

It would make much more sense and with them having time to close it down for an exstensive refurbishment and make it more Dave & Buster/Gameworks/Round 1 concept...And since they have Fix It Felix in the Hub it makes perfect sense to see this place become something better...I mean they even constantly promote them in the outside video of the building and it would be great to have them there for a permanent M&G...I would really like to see this go through....

I've been thinking DQ needed an update for a while... Doesn't it still have that ExtraTERRORestial Encounter game? Even though the ride was removed more than 10 years ago? The place doesn't seem Disney. It seems more of a run down arcade on the corner. You'd think Disney would have higher standards.

I agree most of the bigger games look too blurry like Jungle cruise, Pirates and Alien Encounter....The only recent game they put to an HD Format is Mighty Ducks Pinball...It looks much sharper and brighter...

Seriously, we are in the age of next-gen games. Why spend your vacation dollars over an outdated DisneyQuest when you can play at home? Every guest finds DQ the biggest ripoff on property. This isn't the Disney way and I'm amongst the rest when I say it's time to change that. Disney should be throwing in cutting edge, high quality next-gen experiences that you will only find at DisneyQuest. I don't want to feel like I'm in a second rate D&B.

It's a good idea, makes sense, and totally feasible. Won't happen, though. Money is to be spent elsewhere on property. The goal of DQ is to suck last minute dollars out of suckers, I mean guests. It's no longer meant to be a headliner or main draw.

It would just be PERFECT if Wreck-it-Ralph was the official mascot of DQ! Even if the film's popularity died out years later, he could be kind of indigenous to DQ altogether.

I've never personally been here. Doesn't look like I want to be either. If I want to go to a Disney Quest worth my time, I'll walk over to Innoventions at Epcot.

Awesome idea. I haven't been to DQ in YEARS, but if they were to update it per your idea, I would definitely spend money to go back.
