Disneyland Wherever, Open Brainstorming

Hey guys, I'm new to this website (I just joined today) and it's great to see another site that is all into the whole Imagineering thing!

I am not an aspiring Imagineer at all, but that doesn't stop me from coming up with ideas anyways. I have at least over eighty of them stored in the depths of my computer somewhere and I still have more coming out of my ears...well actually not out of my ears, what I should of have said is coming out of my nose...

I for one am a guy who loves doing open brainstorming threads. I love working with other brains in coming up with new and wonderful ideas. So I decided to come up with a thread (I seriously almost said "friend" instead of "thread") where as many people as possible can come together and come up with a new Disneyland Resort for an undetermined location upon this earth. Here is what I think we need here at our new resort:

1. Disneyland Park
2. A New and Original Second Theme Park
3. An Awesome Hotel
4. An Awesome Shopping District

Hey it's also good to see there are open brainstorming threads here too! I opened up the very first Open Brainstorming thread on the web site Visions Fantastic, entitled "Disneyland Australia." It's good to see how far threads of these kinds have gone on across the worldwide web!

Alrighty folks, let's go foward and do this thing! :sohappy:

Although I'm not into the gigantic task of creating a resort bottom-up, there are a lot of people on here that I know will jump onto this thread! Umm, yeah, there are a lot of good things going on here... a Kingdom Hearts Re-Imagining, a whole lot of brainstorming (as you've seen!) and lots of stand alone projects from lots of members (search some of there guy's "Created Threads"; you'll find some great forgotten gems!). There's also a big contest going on called "The Imagineer Game", where these really talented guys create awesome stuff on really short time limits (I should know; I'm a judge!). We're starting up a really fun new season soon; you should join!

Of course, the rest of the boards are really fun (check out News and Rumors if you want intense Disney discussion [it'll take some time to learn all these acronyms and references!] or Chit-Chat for a LOT of epic win!), so I guess you should go and check them out!

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I might end up making this my "Dream Resort" kind of thing where I just go through and describe my dream Disney theme park. But that's just if no one else shows up to help. Either way I'm fine with however the tide turns here.

I'm interested in playing that Imagineering Contest thing next season, just let me know when it is and I'll be there!
