Well, it took me about a week to find the time to edit up the video. But it's up--a daytime trip through the lagoon and show building, culled together from multiple rides. Also, footage of opening day. And the maiden venture of the Nemorail (that is, the monorail dressed up as a sub). Here are the links:

I always shoot these with the attitude of "what would I like to see if I wasn't there."

And yes, I realize that this is the WDW forum, but I think you'll be surprised how closely the show areas of this ride matches up with The Living Seas with Nemo at EPCOT.

Hope you enjoy them.

There is a pic of the Nemorail in TTC Westgate. I had a good laugh of how corny it looks, but really it's a good idea since the DLR monorail goes over that busy highway and many DLR guests are locals. Too bad that one of the venerable Mark Vs has to go out in such a less-than-dignified way since the VII is coming soon. Although, it's probably just a Mark V with aesthetic changes.

Wonder what its callsign is.

"Monorail Fish, Contemporary"
"Monorail Fish bye"
"Guests are on the platform, complaining of a conning tower going through their rooms"
"Copy that"

"Monorail Fish, Central"
"Monorail Fish bye"
"Has your conning tower broken clear?"
"affirmative"
"thank you, resume normal visual"
"10-4 normal visual"

Wow, those are the best videos yet of the new ride. The interior sets are likely impossible to capture entirely on video, especially the dark shipwreck and mine Scene with Bruce and the even darker Jellyfish Scene. But you did a great job!

The first minute or two of Part One also nicely captures the kinetic movement in and around the lagoon now that the Subs are going again, with the monorail and Autopia above.

Pretty sweet.

I'm glad Disney took elements of the old 20,000 leagues under the sea ride and plussed it. Neo is a great fit.

Now, if they can do that at Disneyworld in Orlando, cool. But I'm happy because of the similar version of the ride at EPCOT Center's The Seas With Nemo and Friends.
