Ok, I've pretty much finnished my Disney's America thread. It seems that interest was lost in it and I kinda got tired while doing it, so I wanted to start up my own Disneyland resort. It will be located in Texas, but I don't know where. Maybe way outside of Houston or somthing. I'm going to go in great detail in this project and I can use some help from anyone.:D

:sohappy:  :sohappy: :D

Man, wouldn't it be great if Disney sold franchises?!?!? Perhaps they will after Comcast buys them up and breaks it all apart, LOL.

Good luck with your Texas plan, and hit me up when you need stockholders :-)

Thanks Figment Dream! Those are really giving me some good thoughts on what it could look like. Some of those may be a bit too big and castle like, but I'll put a few elements of those into my concept drawing.

Anyway, back to Adventureland:

POTC: This version of the classic ride is a combo between DL's version and WDW's version. It has a qeue line similar to WDW's version and the actual ride is similar to DL's version. The qeue passes through an abandoned fort. The left qeue line goes through the section of the fort where the armory, through a town area of the caribean village, and the fort's meeting rooms. The right qeue goes through the battle area where it passes by cannons, dungeons, and along a rocky cliff. Both end up at the boat landing by the fort, it's night time an dyou see the dark sky above you. You board your boat and cast off into a swampy lagoon where you see people enjoying their meals at the Blue Lagoon Restuaunt under a realistic moon. Palm Trees, Spanish Moss and tropical plants and AA aligators are to the left. Then the boats travel into a tunnel where you see the Skull and Coss Bones talking to you and then you go down the first drop and procede into the "dead men tall no tales" caves, and see the pirates that fought over the gold, the skeleton driving the ship, and into the pirate's caves head quarters and see the cursed treasure. Then after that, you procede into a darkened cave where the Haunted Voices say their usual things, before heading down the second drop and into the Fort Battle. The ride continues as usual, then at the end, you pass the gun fighting pirates up the waterfall back to the fort's boat landing. There are a few references to the Movie in the ride. In the qeue line, you'll see a wanted poster for Captain Jack Sparrow and a warning poster for the Black Pearl.
During the ride, you can see a sign for the J. Brown Black Smith Shop.

Festival of the Lion King:

This show is a combo of the AK version and the Broadway version. The theatre is made to resemble an old African Theater and is similar ( seating wise ) to the AK version. The show has puppets and Costumes similar to the Broadway version, Floats, Tumble Monkies, fire dancers, performers, puppets of some of the characters, and the same songs.

Next I'll continue to Frontierland. :sohappy:

Ok, here's frontierland:

Frontierland hugs the East side of the rivers of america and a little bit of the Southern end of the river too. As visitors enter Frontierland, they enter a large wooden fort and kids can fire guns and people can explore the fort as they please. With secret passege way and many things for the kids to explore. In the fort is the Pioneer Merchantile shop.

The south side of Frontierland is the harbor area and connects to Baltimore Square which hugs the west side of the Rivers of America. The South side of Frontierland is where guests can board their rafts to Tom Sawyer island and board the Mark Twain river boat for a cruise around the rivers of America. To the Eastern side of Frontierland is the Shooting Gallery and Casa Mexicana. There, Big Thunder Mountain Boarders the River of America which is one of the wildest rides in the Wilderness. Just beyond that is the Davy Crockett Stunt Show where Davy fights River Pirates with the help of Mike Fink, King of the River. Spectacular Stunts, gun fights, and explosions are part of the experience. ( BTW, I'm canning the Woody's Round up ride ).

Then, there's the Railroad station where the link to Country Woods. More info later.:sohappy:

I am sure there is plenty of land out in the Texas Hill Country. LOL. Hmmm then would be competing with San Antonio out there............Plus the drive would not be that bad for me either. LOL.......But yeah Disney in Texas sounds good. I thought I heard rumors years ago that Disney was doing something in Texas....

Continuing:

Tom Sawyer's Island: Same things.

BTMRR: Almost identical track layout, but many more things on this one. I'm combining the Western River Expedition to this one. In the first tunnel, after going through pitch blackness guests see many beautiful waterfalls and geysors are there all lit up by black light before entering the bat cave and lift. All of the lifts will megneticly propel the train up ( but very slowly to give the impression that the train is struggling up the hill ) so it won't be as noisy. There's an actual splash down in the rivers of america and an on-ride photo area. The trains zooms right through the middle of a shoot out between two badits gangs and before entering the colapsing tunnel, an old AA man pushes down the lever yelling "fire in the hole" before the ride's grand finale.

The Davy Crockett Stunt show will be one of the most stunning shows ever done by disney. Spectacular stunts and pyro effects are part of the show.

Done with Frontierland. Next I'm moving onto Baltimore Square with a new ride idea and a brand spanking new version of the haunted mansion.:D
