Disneyland Resort ~ Reimagined

This is a repost cause I posted it on the wrong forum.

Disneyland Resort has been making smiles for visitors since 1955, and since that year, a second gate, California Adventure, and dining/Shopping district and three hotels have been included. The resort is strong as it is today, with Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and Avengers U-Ticket currently in the works, but what would the resort look like in our minds, with classic experiences and abandoned concepts revitalized in the Resort that started it all? This forum will do just that, a grand tribute to Walt‘s Kingdom. Without further ado, let’s get Imagineering!

Hollywood land is the main problem of California adventure at the moment. So I propose some ideas.

Hyperion is rethemed to a show version of the Great Movie Ride.

Monsters Inc is rethemed to a history of Hollywood trackless dark ride with the Chinese theater as its facade.

Muppetvision and a Statler and Waldolf hot air balloon ride is added northeast of the land.

The land north of Hollywood land would be a clone of the defunct tram tour at HS.

A tribute store similar to universal.

One Man’s Dream added somewhere.

Great work! Will use some inspiration

First we’ll start with Disneyland, and it’s staple land:

FANTASYLAND

This post will just be the courtyard. Here’s what will be included:

  • Snow White’s Enchanted Wish is reworked back into a scary dark ride, as I felt Disney ruined the ride. Snow White And Her Adventures will take guests into a minecart and whisk them into Snow’s story. Inspiration from Magic Kingdoms former version of the ride and the movies dark elements will be included.
  • Sleeping Beauty’s Castle Walkthough (Rename in process) will return to 3D Sets instead of the cheap 2D cutouts, effects will remain.
  • Pinocchio’s Daring Journey will be relocated near the Matterhorn Bobsleds, in which a Beauty And The Beast dark ride will take its place. Guests enter through Marrice‘s Cottage and board a woodchopper cart and will relive the events of the film, even if doesn’t live up to Tokyo’s Ride. This will also create some kinetic energy for the existing Red Rose Tavern.
  • Speaking of which, the Italian Facades of the former Pinocchio mini area become French inspired buildings. Red Rose Tavern will get more dining opinions ( in this case, food) and the interior will get reworked to look more appealing and remove some of the former Village Haus elements.
  • King Arthur’s Carousel becomes the Fantasia Carousel, which transforms the ride head to toe with elements from Fantasia and Fantasia 2000.

Hi there! I recently worked up a map of the entire park reimagined, and just wanted to throw in the Fantasyland section I drew out for inspiration. (The theater [replaced by batb] now sits in the village, flats moved elsewhere)

Ok everyone, just a reminder, This thread is not dead. I just have to think though my ideas and then draw them. If anyone has a suggestion for upcoming areas, let me know (DCA ideas would be useful). The next post will be The Matterhorn Village maybe with the Former Autopia and Storybookland/Theater area will be included
