Disneyland Resort Paris to be reclaimed by French gov't. by 2017?

Under the contract with the French government, a third park in the Paris resort must open by 2017, otherwise they will reclaim the land they gave to Disney in 1992. What will Disney do here? The resort would have to turn a MAJOR profit by then and I doubt it will be able to do so at this juncture. What's going to happen?

From what I remember they will reclaim the parcels of land not currently used. DLP has made allot of money from the land with 3rd Party Hotels, Towns, Business areas etc. I think they will built a few more of those and then build a park on the cheap again. By that date I would expect Disney Studios will have a decent attendance. I can see an indoor waterpark being the cheapest and most wanted addition being added.

From what I hear the planned Village Nature Resort can be classsed as a 3rd park (don`t ask me how)

In fact, 2/3 of the difference between made and predicted can be reclaimed. But there is a loophole in the contract: no land can be reclaimed in the center area (where the 3rd park is slated to be built). Disney protected itself well here...

And EDSCA should post a profit as soon as next year so, there is plenty of time before 2017 to save for a third park. WDC can (and will, as the major shareholder) help too...

In reference to the nature village. I read that they were buying more land to build the village.
Part of it is on the Davy Crocket part and the rest will be new purchased land.

And I would definately back up the idea of a water park. Originally there was supposed to be a water park built around a volcano (for hotel guests only).
