I like it! They saved a lot of space by cutting most of the unnecessary flavor text from the restaurants (which they're pushing onto the app it seems), but I'm a little worried about text accessibility - I don't think there's enough contrast with the body and background of Adventureland and Pacific Wharf, specifically.

I don't think I expected them to use League Gothic for the headings, but it looks better than I would've thought.

Interesting that they decided to make a map with GOTG:MB in Hollywoodland when Avengers Campus opens next month. Maybe they didn’t know they were opening it this soon.

Pretty nice High resolution on both of the maps.

At first I thought that it was just my imagination, that it suddenly seemed like the park had way fewer attractions with the new design. But a second glance revealed that the attractions that are currently closed are off the map.

I have no idea if this is the same as on the older style maps, but Disneyland's is so colorful except for Galaxy's Edge (red and green and yellow and blue and...super drab unappealing looking gray, brown, and white in the GE space). It sticks out from the rest of the park on the map and not in a good way IMO.

Also really sad that one of the four featured food items at Disneyland right now is...a cheeseburger. Hopefully those old menus return in full sooner rather than later.

Disney doesn't seem to shy away from quick updates to their guide maps.

The URL for both actually seems to suggest these are only for April 30th through May 13th.

The rides that are missing are the ones they won’t open any time soon. For example, GRR, Jungle Cruise, Matterhorn, and Buzz are listed because they will all open in the next couple months. Golden Zephyr, Nemo, etc. are not labeled.

Do we know for sure about Matterhorn yet? That’s the one we’re really hoping is open by August.

Alternate Gothic No 1 D, actually! I agree that it looks really good. I think the maps are meant to match the new-ish design of the ticket booth screens.

May 14 is also when hours are extended to 9am to 9pm. I feel like that's intentional given the map dates, maybe a 2-week "test and adjust" period?

Ah, that makes a lot of sense! I was wondering why this style specifically since it seemed so divorced from the app aesthetic, but I do remember the ticket booths looking like this.

I like the Astro Orbiter on the PeopleMover platform... with all the hype for the Disney World PeopleMover reopening its fun to see that detail, even though this one will never reopen. RIP

Those are just the satallite dishes of the Observatron teasing us about how it's supposed to look when it's in operation.
