And they will whine and scream how Disney is ripping them off even as they walk through the turnstiles at Disneyland.

Every year, they raise the prices. Every year, the forums are flooded with complaints.

The community (or at least a few very outspoken members of the community) needs to pick one, since if the parks are to crowded, simple economics dictate that they aren't too expensive.

So if I understand this correctly during peak season when the parks are most crowded (I find less enjoyable) it will cost $11 more than last year. Is Disney trying to discourage people from going with higher prices thus lessen the crowds or are they looking to maximize profits?
The per hour rate can vary greatly on when the parks close, also attraction wait times can be ridiculous so if one is waiting in line 1-4 hours (peak times) that is time wasted and factors into the cost/hr. That 5 min attraction one has waited 3 hours for now cost $30 or more. Don't get me wrong I like WDW, I just wish they would hold the line on prices when they just reported increased attendence and a substantial profit increase as well as decrease in corporate taxes

Indeed. Every year, the prices go up and it's the same thing.
