Hi All,
My best friend is a little bit embarassed of going on the rides at Disneyland paris as she is rather on the large side - well that said she has a large backside!! She is worried she wont fit in the rides! I have said that i am sure they would have built the rides to accommodate all sizes but she isnt convinced. I dont want it to stop us from going on any of the rides.
I was wondering are there any rides that you think she may have trouble with? IF so at least we can avoid those rides to avoid embarassing her. She isnt too big elsewhere but she does unfortunately have a VERY wide bottom! Please let me know asap if there are any rides that you think she will have problems with? Many thanks for your help - we are off in two days!!!

Thanks!! Quick response would be great!

Hmmm... Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril may be a problem - if I recall the seats were well moulded and you have a horseshoe harness. Space Mountain would be a problem - the seats are tight fitting with again a horseshoe harness. Same for RnRC. There again, the best thing to do is quietly ask at Guest Relations - City Hall, on the left of Town Square as you have walked under the railroad station. I know other parks have specific seats or a car that can accommodate larger guests.

Star Tours and the ToT have seat belts with not-as-padded seats. Crush's Coaster has padded seats but with a kind of lap bar. Again, ask when you enter the studios - guest relations is on your right in the entrance plaza, before you enter Studio 1. A quiet word at GR in each park will help - you can bet they`ve heard it all and more before - nothing for your friend to be embarassed about. I found GR to have at least one CM on duty who is very fluent in english.

Have a great time, and tell us all about it when you get back :D

Kraken at SeaWorld has a row of seats for the "larger" person :sohappy:

That said - with some rides you have to just try a squeeze in - I'm 6'6" and struggle with Space Mountain. BTMR is a bit uncomfortable. But, for the sake of a few minutes entertainment I'm happy to have a few minutes discomfort
