Greetings fellow soon-to-be imagineers! I know I have done alot of theme parks in the past, but never really got them going. Well, I'm gonna need some help on this one, and make sure I keep this project going!:sohappy: Alot of help and thoughts and ideas are gonna be needed. Anyway, I'm going to start my own theme park called Disney Mid-America. It will probably located in Texas or someplace like that. I don't want to call it Disneyland Texas, because there's something about that name I don't like. So, let the park planning begin!:sohappy:

Okay. Sounds good so far. One thing I've noticed thought...you are using some of my ideas (which is fine) from when me and you started the PM'ed theme park that we would complete and present (sorry it fell threw...I tried to PM you but it said your Inbox was full)...(so I tried again and again)! Anyways, I would like to design the new Fantasmic show along with a different Night Time firework show, presented on nights that Fantasmic isn't. Kindof like what we did in the big IDEA THREAD that Meeko started a LLLOOOONNNNNGGGGGG time ago! I'm guessing we are using Beauty and the Beast Castle. If not, which one then? If we aren't using B&TB then I could maybe design a show to go with the castle then. Let me know! Bye for now!

Oh, I'm so sorry about that! I had no idea that it was that full. I never really bothered to delete my private messages in the inbox. Please feel free to PM me again and again! Once again, I'm sorry about that, I feel quite guilty. Even if it wasn't full, It would probably still have fallen though because I was grounded because of my grades and that meant no computer. I'm going to delete all of the PMs right now...

Anyways, yes it will be a B+B Castle, and I'll need all the help I can get for the Fireworks and Fantasmic. I need a new name for the fireworks, and maybe a new name for Fantasmic because it will be very different from the ones at MGM and DL. It will take place in front of the castle. It will be on a stage sort of like the For Court stage at MK, but sort of like on an island. People will watch the shows from across the mote. I will post a picture soon of my rendering of the hub! Fontierland and the newest land, St. Louis Landing coming soon!:sohappy:

EDIT: BTW, Wannabe Walt, since you're willing to help me on Fantasmic and the Fireworks show, could you help me with some of the other shows in the park such as World Rythems? World Rythems is a part of the sunset blast time of the park. Sunset blast is a time in the park when the sunsets, but at that time, an explosion of shows come out in almost every land. Like Fantaseyland has the Belle's Celebration in front of the castle, the World Rythems show in Adventureland ( which has tons of confetti and a bit of Pyro effects ), St. Louis Landing has the Mississippi Jazz show with performers on a stage and performers on boats that head down the rivers of america, and a small fireworks surprise at the end, and I'm still thinking of shows for Toon Town, Tomorrowland, and Frontierland. Could you help me out on some of these? I'd really appriciate it!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

Thanks for your comments, and its great to talk to you again James! One question though, how can I put in the lava chase if its a dark ride. There are several flaws such as where the viecle would be, how big the scene is, the lava, ect. But it would make a great addition. Maybe it could use some sort of projection technology.

Imagineer Boy, I'd be glad to help with the other shows! I have some ideas for Toontown, Tomorrowland, and Frontierland.

Toontown: Mickey's Fair Festival
Description: Around sunset Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy come out for a big County Fair. All the rides light up with colorful lights, some twinkling in the twilight; Windows of the buildings would illuminate (comical silohettes would appear in some of them); and the fountains and streets would "sparkle" with digital magic. The Toontown Fair area would open for guests to enter. (This area would be part of Toontown. It would include a Farris Wheel, Tilt-A-Whirl, Merry-Go-Round, and other famous fair-type rides.)

Tomorrowland: I have no ideas...sorry

Frontierland: Tall Tale Roundup
Description: At twilight Pecos Bill, John Henry, and Johnny Appleseed come out for a sunset singalong. Each man sings his own "theme-song" (specially written) while the others make fun of it. After the tree songs are over, they give the guests a chance to either sing about themselves, someone they are with, or one of the tall-tale characters. You can see these three at the bottom of the hill below the entrance to Big Thunder Mountain.

I am currently in working progress on Fantasmic! and when its finished, I will start "Once Upon a Time...".

Wow, I love the Toon Town idea! Although, maybe instead of Mickey's Fair Festival, how about "Toon Town Bicentenial Celebration." What do you think? I can see it now, colorful lights, the rides like the merry go round could be sort of like floats the characters ride on during the big show and invite kids to ride on them a bit, complete with a confetti and small fire work finale! It'd be great.

I think the Tall Tale round up can take place in the Horshu Salloon, big hoe down. It won't be as big as the other shows, but still knee slappin fun.

Before we start work on Fantasmic, there are a few things I need to point out first:

Think of the hub as a three quarter moon. There is a big viewing area behind the Walt and Mickey Partners statue, but the stage is sort of like an island in front of the castle. And... oh, forget it. I can't explain it too well in words. I'll post a picture of it tomorrow.
Well, besides the stage, I want more pyro effects than the show at WDW, the villains have to be in this show, the story will be a bit different from the original. Instead of it being Mickey's dream, Mickey's is simply putting on a show of magic for all to enjoy, but the villains are crashing the party, ect ect. I'll go more into detail later, but I need to head to bed I'm really sleepy. :snore: Good night everyone!

I have came up with the show layout for Fantasmic. Tell me what you think!

FANTASMIC!
-Opening (same as WDW pretty much)
-Sorcerer's Apprentice (longer than WDW, water effects are still included, pyros will be increased)
-Safari (new version of Dancing Animals. Incorporates animals from Africa, Asia, North America, and Australia)
-Bubbles (Now includes: Friend Like Me, Be Our Guest, Under the Sea, Just Keep Swimming (Finding Nemo), Hakuna Matata, A Pirates Life for Me, and I've Got No Strings. Bubble Machines will fill the audience with bubbles)
-Jiminy and Monstro (same as WDW, more water effects)
-Tarzan (new...it replaces Pocahontas and Peter Pan. I am thinking that there would be fake rocks in front of the castle (like what are in front of Tomorrowland at WDW on the water) that would be used in this scene. Tarzan would also swing from a tower on the castle into the "backstage" area)
-Princess Medley (B&TB, Little Mermaid, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty)
-Evil Queen and Magic Mirror (takes place on a balcony on the castle)
-Transformation to Evil (also on balcony)
-Mickey's Carpet Ride/Cobra Theme (snake comes out of the Porticulus door of the castle)
-Mickey and the Lamp
-Chernabog/Night on Bald Mountain (Chernabog rises from above the castle)
-Maleficent & Mickey (dragon comes from the side of the castle and castle becomes a blazing inferno)
-Mickey Destroies Evil (no walking on water (in my mind that is comparing him to Jesus), lots of special effects here.)
-Finale (Mickey is on a balcony of the highest tower. No Steamboat like DL and WDW)

This is just my idea...make changes if you want!!!

Awesome! Here are a few things I may want to add, and a few things to subtract. I will post my ideas perhaps tomorrow because right now, I have a tight schedual. I'll post more of my thoughts tomorrow.

Gurgi is going to help me work on the back stage areas of the park and james has also volenteered to help me with the Aladdin dark ride.

imagineer boy i hate t ostart this on a bad note, but i wasnt planning to put the ride in lamps, its kinda tacky if u ask me. I think we still need to stick to the carpets. You can do so much more with that. Oh yeah well the whole ride starts slow and everything with A Whole New World playing in the backround, you fly through different areas of the world. The carpets will st 8, 4 in the front and 4 in the back. And then all the sudden everything goes pitchblack and you see two snake eyes which scares you but the light go back up and it was just the genie playing a joke. Genie tells you, you to the Cave of Wonders, and you go there and you get caught in the lava chase, ill get more in to that later. But thats all i got right now. I know this is very sketchy, but its gonna be ahalf slow and half fast thrill ride. Ill have more of the ride and story, he if you wanna help with Austrailia Imagineer Boy just send another PM or just post.

James! You're back! Where were you? Anyway, I think Tomorrowland should really be Discoveryland. When you enter, you will be flanked by the Discoveryland Convention Center on the left, and the Discoveryland Municipal Building on the right. The Convention Center will be home to Alien Encounter and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. The Municipal Building will be home to an updated If You Had Wings, and Timekeeper. Ahed of you will be the 198 foot high Discovery Mountain. In theory, I would like every land to have one mountain, but I digress. Anyway, you enter the mountain through a long tunnel, and in the ENORMOUS atrium, you see a smaller dome for Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon, different from Paris, to the right. Also on the right is Horizons. On the opposite side is updated and enlargened Mission: Space and a brand new ride concept called Last Chance Out. More info later!

Hmm... I have to admit, the lamps definately would be cheesy. Perhaps you're right on the magic lamps part, but you're already in magic carpets at the magic carpets of aladdin, it would seem sort of an over used ride viecle concept. Perhaps I should ex out Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride and keep the dark ride. I'll think of some sort of crowd soaker to replace it. Anyway, I think you have some good ideas for the dark ride. The concept could be that Genie is your guide during the ride, and points out different places you have to go. One more thing, we kinda need to make this ride a little less like peter pan's flight, because the whole concept is sort of similar to it. I want it to be unique. I like the idea about Genie scaring you and perhaps the lava chase scene could use some sort of simulator technology like Spiderman. I don't know, I'll think about some possibilities, and I can't wait to hear some more of your ideas james!

SIR, to be honest, I'm not too wild about some of your tomorrowland ideas. :( Although I am interested in the the "last chance out" idea for Mission Space what is that? I think that it should be tomorrowland because the discoveryland in paris is called discoveryland because its a tribute to all of the european scince fiction dreamers like Juels Verne and HG Wells and sort of a european early 1800s dream of the future. For my tomorrowland, I sort of want to have a look sort of like WDW's but with more of a 1950s retro buck rogers vision of the future, and the 50s was when tomorrowland aired, ect. Kind of get the idea?

Hey guys, could you kind of wait till I post my version of a land then throw in you suggestions? Thanks!:D

Whew, had to get through all that. Frontierland and St. Louis landing comming up soon! Stay tuned!

You've got some great ideas imagineer boy, I like how this is coming along!

Just two quick suggestions:

1. Throw out Magic Carpets of Aladdin if you're going with the other attraction. Aladdin is great, but one good attraction should be good enough for him. Maybe a ride based on The Emporer's New Groove?

2. In Fantasmic!, why not change the Peter Pan scene (or the Tarzan scene that Wannabe Walt suggested) to a Pirates of the Caribbean scene? That'd be a new and original concept. Tarzan just doesn't seem big enough to hold his own scene.

Other than that, everything sounds great, and I can't wait to hear more. :)
