So you go to the park for 30 days a year? That isn't unheard of. Back in 2015 I went to Disneyland 39 times. I think my sister still goes every Sunday by herself. It's funny because we go so many times a year, we complain about what we see on a daily basis. I guess we hope things will get better but after a while, it just isn't fun anymore.

One way to make things better is stop giving them money. They will continue to raise the price until they don't sell enough of them.
27 actually every 3 years (Knotts gets visited for a day.)

For those with more money than sense.
Oh, everything is terrible at Disneyland. No one should ever go there. The service is terrible. They nickel & dime everything.
Oh by the way, here is an additional $1800 on my credit card.

I’m conflicted. Seems like a lot of $ until you take a break and realize you’re going to spend money somewhere regardless. It’s not Disneyland or stay home. Getting through the week is a grind and when the weekend hits it’s a celebration and money is being spent. If I’m going to spend 75% of what I would have on Magic Keys on restaurants, movie tickets, Chuck e Cheese and lesser theme parks I think I’ll just take the Disneyland access. Now, what I think is up for debate is if Disneyland is as fun as we think it is? Or more specifically, if the experience worth the one hour + drive, prices, crowds as a whole.

It depends.

Do you feel happy and have lots of great memories of your family?
or
Do you feel tired, angry, poorer?

So 9 times a year. At $1800 per year, that $200 per visit.

I do the same thing but at Knotts.
Except all those visits are on one magic key. Then I move on to a Universal Orlando AP for a year and then WDW AP. $53 a day if I had purchased the pass with this price, but I didn’t I bought it in January (and am too lazy to see what it cost then.)

I kept a spreadsheet on my visits and where I parked when I visited Disneyland. I could predict for years where I was going to park based on the time of day. Does anyone keep track of their weekly/monthly visits?

I don't have a MK, but I do have a spreadsheet that has tracked all my visits since 2013. It's mostly just the dates, who went with me, how many days at the parks and how many nights in my hotel as well as the name of the hotel. Which parks I visited that trip and any miscellaneous notes like if I flew or drove.

Not as detailed as where I parked though.

My list was just the date, parking area and the kid that went with me. I kept it on my phone so I could find my car again.

Disneyland Resort says new sales of Magic Key passes have been paused:

Please note that we have paused new sales of Magic Key passes. The Magic Key program provides reservation-based admission to one or both Disneyland Resort theme parks. At this time, current Magic Key holders may have the opportunity during their renewal window (currently up to 30 days prior to the pass expiration date) to renew into a pass made available within the program. The quantity of passes and pass types available for renewal may be limited. Passes or a pass type may be unavailable from time to time or at any given time or available only for renewal.
