Disneyland hotels

This is great information. Thank you. I wonder if they are still charging for parking because it specifically says it is free on their current web site, and my reservation confirmation says free parking. So I will throw a fit if they try to charge me for it, but perhaps I'll call to confirm in advance just to make sure. The tip for the route to the park is most appreciated!
If we're talking about the same place, I see that they charge for parking. That's one of my criteria as I'm investigating hotels.

So I went to look again at the website for Stovalls and it does say "Self parking for a fee." I know when I first started to investigate the '"Good Neighbor" hotels, I was thrown off by that phrasing. As I quickly ran down the list of hotel services, I was reading it as "self parking for free." So you may want to give them a call to confirm. And you never know, maybe they are running a special promotion and this is an added benefit. Good luck!

That's great you have black and white confirmation of free parking, @JillC LI . I'd pull that out in a heartbeat, but calling ahead for any questions I have is a great idea for any of the hotels, @Karenb64 .

I'm finding ala carte is the cheapest way to go. Planning on visiting in late July and have found I get a much cheaper deal by staying at a Choice Hotel (of which I am a member and get a good discount) and purchasing tickets from way.com. I haven't yet researched walking to and from or inquired about the shuttle service but sounds like definately deals to be had if you look around a bit.

So I went back to check as well, and there is definitely some confusion in the phrasing in different places. I will call to double-check. Regardless, the location seems good, and a free hot breakfast is included, so I'm fine. Thanks again.
