Well I've decided to post my preliminary ideas for my Disneyland park. Hope you guys like it, and please feel free to add your opinions.

The Lands:
-Main Street USA
-Fantasyland
-Tomorrowland
-Frontierland
-Adventureland
-Shadowland
-Toontropolis

Each land will have it's own detailed back story that will weave throughout them, which will be explained to the park goers in the park maps, and other means throughout the lands.

The castle for my park will be the one from Beauty and the Beast.http://www.alaska.net/~animate/store/castle.jpg

Inside the castle will be a walk through attraction depicting the story of BatB, with a meet and greet with Belle and an AA Beast at the finale.

That's all I can do right now. I've got a ton of homework to do. Let me know what you guys think. I'm going to have this be a very in depth project, including scripts and drawing s hopefully, so any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot that Critter Country is also one of my lands.

How about Delhi in India? If you want, we could make this tie in with my Australlia project? Sort of tie them is as if Disney were building more parks?

More Main Street.

Disneyland India's MS will borrow heavily from Tokyo's including it's glass over hang, which covers the entire area of the park.

The railroad will be very similar to Disneyland's containing show scenes and stations for every land.

Comments are appreciated!

Hmm yea I noticed that too, I'll have to figure it out.

Also I'm in a real pickle I can't decide whether or not to keep Tootropolis or not. My reason for taking it out is my idea for a second park is where you actually enter the world of cartoons, Pixar and Disney alike. What do you guys think?

I say drop only the Toontropolis name and redo it with an average Toontown. If you were to go with either my Toontown for DL and TDL (also should be added to DLP) or Toontown for WDW (also should be added to HKDL), which would you pick?

Adventureland

As you pass over a jungle river and through a haunting mist, you enter a land of danger, excitement and the unknown. This is Adventureland. You start your journey in the Adventurer's Base Camp on the banks of the Rivers of Adventure, where you can gather supplies and hang out with other adventurers. It's here where you can jump aboard a jungle river boat and see all the animals That reside on the Rivers of Adventure. You can also sit in on the Festival of the Lion King, celebrating the great King Simba.

As you wander out of the Base Camp, you see a island out in the middle of the Rivers. You cross and old rickety bridge and find your self in an island paradise. This is Mysterious Island. This is home to the Tiki birds, who are always ready to sing you a song. This is also home to the terrors of the high seas: the Pirates of the Caribbean. You can climb aboard your own pirate boat and sail through Pirate Mountain, but be warned mateys, the be rough waters ahead.

Back on the mainland you venture into the dense foliage of Lost River Delta. Here in this lost continent you can be shrunk to the size of a bug and hang out with Flik and his friends. You can also climb into Tarzan's Tree House and meet the legendary ape-man. Those who consider themselves among the brave can visit Dr. Henry "Indiana" Jones at his new dig site. The good doctor has discovered the lost Temple of Tlaloc, the Aztec God of Storms.

Attractions
-The Jungle Cruise
-Festival of the Lion King
-The Enchanted Tiki Room
-Pirate's Mountain
-It's Tough to be a Bug
-Indiana Jones and the Temple of Tlaloc

What do you guys think?

Nice, I like the Indy ride name. Will Pirates be based on the films or not? That's what I'm doing in Sydney, just makes sense to me.

Yea the Pirate ride will borrow heavily from the movies, with some of the classic scenes sprinkled in.

I'll have a more detailed description of each ride later this week.

Hey guys! I'm back! The second semester of school was pretty rough, so I pretty much forgot about the project, but now that I'm on summer break I'm going to pick it up again. Expect the first new update tomorrow. Hope you guys will all be back to help.

Good to hear, should get Disneyland Australlia moving again with the second park etc. Looking forward to more of your ideas. Adventureland had a nice mix of ride so the rest should be good

So after missing my dead line by days, go figure, I'll update the thread with a walk through Adventurer's Base Camp.

This area is the entrance to Adventureland, and it acts as a sort of hub for the land. The best way I can describe the architecture/theming is that it is very similar to the Restarauntasorous in Dinoland. All old buildings that the mischievous/lazy adventurers have defaced through out the years. The story behind the camp is that Indiana Jones has brought a group of his students on his most recent expedition. There will be clothes hanging in random places, and evidence of the adventurers slacking off. The background music will be a mix of classic adventureland music and radio broadcasts ala Jungle Cruise. There will be two comedic streetmosphere actors who will be two of the "senior" adventurers.

Attractions
Jungle Cruise-This version of the JC will snake through all of Adventureland, and will even pass through the ride buildings of Pirates of the Caribbean and Indiana Jones. All of the classic scenes will be included, with two new scenes which will be in the previously mentioned ride buildings. You will come face to tentacle with the Kraken in the first, and barely escape the vice grip of a giant anaconda in the second. The ride will also include the fight between the water and fire gods featured in the Hong Kong version.

Festival of the Lion King-Pretty much the same as in Animal Kingdom, but with a much more themed theater. I think the theater at AK is a bit boring.

Shops/Food
The one giant shop/restaraunt. It would be themed as like the dorm/apartments of the adventurers. The mess hall will serve burgers, salads, and wraps.

What do you think?
