Disneyland Closing at 5 PM on 9/12/13

Anyone know why the park is closing early? I think it's too early for a Halloween party.

Just curious as this is our first day there!

I'm hoping its gonna be pretty empty during the day so we can get lots of rides in!!

It's also possible that it's a press event. Halloweentime starts the next day on (muah hahaha) Friday de 13th. It would be fortuitous timing to have the media in there. Or private event is also a good bet, too. I'd bet they don't do many of those during the Halloween season when they're already closing the park early so many times for the Halloween parties.
