That was a special memory of live jazz and swing bands at Disneyland at night. They were fun to watch. I also enjoyed the rock bands at Tomorrowland Terrace. That is probably why I like Knotts so much. They actually have live adult bands most of the year. There is almost no adult aimed entertainment at Disneyland anymore. No wonder there are so many bars. It's the only way adults are watch the stuff made for five year olds.

I have to agree with this. All the focus is on dance parties for toddlers and their moms these days.

In Walt's day they understood the appeal of date night at Disneyland for adults.

I am sorry for this replication of a post. I am just beyond sad to here What had happened to Tim and Joylani. Have to admit how much it was a punch in the gut to lose Hip Kitty, but lose Tim and his wife is beyond sad. If any of the Gill family watches any posts I just want to say that I grateful to have seen a Benny Goodman on Trumpet in my time. It won’t make up for any loss, but just know I appreciate every time I heard him and the band. He will be missed.
