DHS is a mess on so many levels. The Star Wars Experience does little to correct that.

Which is why we have a Guardians of the Galaxy overlay for the Tower of Terror, Toy Story Land with yet another miniature roller coaster and spinning ride and the same old Indiana Jones, Muppet and Little Mermaid shows we've had for going on 30 years. What's not to love?

@Virtual Insanity I don't disagree with your overall argument that the park is poorly designed, but the way you're downplaying the upcoming changes and the impact they'll have is weird.

Do little? Really? You people are nuts. lol
We're nuts huh...

DHS has 5 rides. 5. How many other amusement or theme parks in the world have only 5 rides and charge $100 entry?
The Toy Story and Star Wars expansions have plans for 4 more rides. That brings DHS total ride count to 9. That's still nowhere near a full day of things to do. Sure you can count shows too, but even there you have super aged shows that should have been replaced a decade ago.
Comparing it to the other Disney parks ride counts this total is weak.

By next year:

Disneyland: 32 rides
California Adventure: 21 rides
Magic Kingdom: 24 rides
Epcot: 11 rides
Animal Kingdom: 9 rides (incl. Avatar)
Disneyland Paris: 21 rides
Disney Studios Paris: 10 rides
Hong Kong Disneyland: 19 rides
Tokyo Disneyland: 24 rides
Tokyo Disneysea: 17 rides
Shanghai Disneyland: 12 rides

I find it pretty sad that the newest Disney park will have more rides on opening day than a 27 year old park. Heck, even the park that is considered Disney's worst has one more ride than this!

We might be talking about different things. If you're getting at the impact in attendance, I have no doubt it will drive an attendance spike. Star Wars land/experience won't magically fix everything else with that park though.

Who claimed it would? It's a step in the right direction. Quite a big one. You guys are nuts if you can't see that.

I'm pretty sure no one is denying SWL and TSL are steps in the right direction. People are saying these two additions won't completely fix DHS, and it will still need some work. That's all people are saying.
