Disneyland Apps

There is an app by Touring Plans called Disneyland Lines. I find it to be pretty useful. Its sort of like the MDE app in that it has the wait times listed for the attractions in the parks and there are a few other little goodies on it. Have a great time!

I've had the exact opposite experience with the Touring Plans app. I've found it on my frequent visits to be more accurate than MouseWait.

Honestly, for a Disneyland trip. Put your smartphone away.
There are plenty of information kiosks (green umbrella stands) and signage boards around the parks that if you "have to" know something - you can find out the old fashion way. Sometime it's handy if you want to know if you should park hop.
One of the joys of Disneyland is that you don't need to treat it like WDW. It isn't a resort that has to be grabbed by the throat and beaten into submission to get any return on your vacation investment. The only things you need to plan are where you want to start the day off and where you want to end up at the end (for a nighttime spectacular - and perhaps decide if you want to get a reservation for dinner for one of them). The most enjoyment can be had by simply deciding the very basic at the end of a street - turn left or turn right and then see where the day takes you.
Grab a map and a times guide and kick it old school. 60 years of experience at doing it the right way is on your side at Disneyland.
